Sadly we did not have a good experience with Steins Cleaning. We booked an end of tenancy clean but the standard of cleaning was very poor. The inside of windows were not cleaned, neither was the woodwork. The skirting boards and floor in the kitchen were left dirty. Sockets in kitchen had grease and food splashes which were not cleaned. Contacted Marc who said he would compensate and asked me to email photos, which I did. Have heard nothing further from him despite a further email. Poor customer service. Not recommended!
I had a full end of tenancy clean completed, including a deep carpet clean. The carpets and windows were cleaned to an immaculate standard, which I was very happy with. This was also the case for the visible areas of the house. However, after a check out inventory was completed by my landlord, it was discovered that there was rubbish left under the fridge, urine marks around the toilet, stains in the shower and bathroom and inch thick dust under the bed. The team at Steins told me, to my face, that all of the furnishings had been pulled out and cleaned behind which is clearly incorrect. I do not appreciate being lied to, after the team assured me that they were very experienced with end of tenancy cleans. After contacting Steins, they replied to one email and were very dismissive. Upon sending photographic evidence, they have ignored all of my emails and I am still waiting for reimbursement on the charges for having the house recleaned for areas that they failed to complete. Such a shame, as the team seemed really polite but customer service has been abysmal when there has been problems.
Mark was a very friendly, helpful person and managed to move my furniture around for the cleaning of the carpets. I had the lounge, bedroom and landing done which turned out fabulous - like new carpets. He is coming back to do the rest of the house shortly. There was a special deal on and I was very pleased with the price.
