Got seated straight away. Had a small dish of twirly crisps when seated, to eat while we looked at the menu. Given time to look at menu.Served by Caitlin. She was very attentive and interacted well with with my young grandson. Felt this was great customer service as he is only young ,he was still acknowledged as a customer. Thank you Caitlin. Food was delicious I had mushroom risotto, grandson had children's menu. He did eat most of this but would say the extra Β£2.50 charged for a small carton of juice was well overpriced hence 1 star removed. The children's menu consists of a starter main and dessert. I felt both food was priced reasonably. Never felt rushed and Caitlin was very attentive throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. Again, asking my grandson directly if he was okay and if there was anything he needed. The small shot of hot chocolate given at the end was delicious.

We visited this branch of Zizzi in Hull on a early Friday evening in mid November. Zizzi is a restaurant chain of choice for us we enjoy the food and the menu choices. We had booked a table and upon arrival were quickly shown to it by a member of staff. The restaurant wasnβt overly full at the time of our visit, the atmosphere was good and it was the right volume to have a conversation. The waiter who took our order was very polite and enthusiastic which was good to see. We had some questions regarding the special offers that you can get from the βZillionaireβ app and although he didnβt know the answer he went and asked the question for us from another member of staff. We opted for a free starter using the points obtained in the app. This starter was the Fonduta Formaggi and itβs a favourite of my husbandβs therefore heβs had it many times before. On this occasion however he was left a little disappointed, usually you get a lot of melted cheese to dip but this time around there was barely any in the pot. Have Zizzi changed the portion size of the dish? Or was it because they were aware we were redeeming points to pay for it as they state you should tell the waiter prior to ordering. Or perhaps on this occasion we were just unlucky. I must state we didnβt question it at the time as we had another engagement later on in the evening we needed to make so therefore just accepted it. However on our next visit Iβll be paying close attention to how much we get next time! Moving onto the mains and these were really good, the pizza delicious and the pasta dish was very tasty. Zizzi were running an offer at the time of our visit in the app of buy a main dish get a pasta dish for free! It made the whole experience a little more special knowing what a great deal this was that we could take advantage of. Zizzi does offer great promotions and we enjoyed taking this one up as one of us ate a main meal for free! Overall our experience in this branch of Zizzi was great, we have been here before and found the service to be good and staff to be friendly and welcoming. If we had more time we probably would have had desserts. When asking for the bill it was brought promptly and our discount codes were applied from the app. A swift payment transaction was taken too. Overall the staff were very nice throughout and we enjoyed our visit.

Great Italian restaurant for a lovely meal before we went to the theatre. Staff were so friendly. The starters of arancini balls & calamari was delicious & our Chianti beef ragu main was so tasty. A special treat of a dessert was the Tiramisu & the Candy floss Dolce, which was a show stopper. A special mention for Caitlyn who served our table, a lovely girl who was very attentive, making sure everything was to our satisfaction. Would highly recommend a visit!

Nice place for dinner and good value for money if you use the set menu or tastecard. Very friendly and efficient waiting staff. Would visit again but would try different dishes as three out of four things we tried were topped with the same pesto which wasnβt that great.

We dined here on the 12th February and ordered from the valentines menu. We was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and appreciated the polite customer service we received by the waiting staff. We are definitely considering eating here again or at another zizzi restaurant elsewhere!

Tucked away in a quiet corner of the bustling St Stephen's Shopping Centre is a true culinary delight. Zizzi never fails to deliver delicious food, warm service and an incredibly inviting atmosphere. So good - we make a 30 mile round trip just to dine here. My personal pick is the pasta della casa with a gem lettuce side. Always beautifully cooked with each bite bittersweet as it means you're nearing the end. Save room for the melt in the middle chocolate pudding and ice cream, or one of the many other desserts such as tiramisu, honeycomb cheesecake or golden millionaire's slice. The service and the restaurant itself is always spot on. I always appreciate when the kitchen is part of the dining area. Not only does it build anticipation, but it shows that all the food is cooked fresh because all the action is happening right in front of you.The smells wafting over create palpable hunger as they do so. Slight menu choice envy from other tables set in, though it provides ideas for something new to try for next time. We ordered two mains, a side, a pudding and four drinks, with the bill coming to Β£44 minus tip (please tip those in the hospitality industry after the time they've had of late). So all in all, excellent value, always an amazing meal and a really relaxed vibe. Best of all, you get to eat your own bodyweight in pasta. Really, what more could you ask for?
