   TL:DR Lied about delivery times, left customers waiting far too long. Guests and hosts evening ruined. Every time in the past that we've ordered from this particular takeaway, the food and service has been great and the delivery has been prompt. Not tonight. After placing an order at quarter to 9 and receiving a delivery time of 10:00, we assumed (albeit wrongly) that we wouldn't be waiting too long. The order we placed was closely around £40, so again we assumed that an hour and a quarter was a reasonable time to wait. The food didn't arrive. At quarter past 10 we decided to call and find out where our order was (we had guests who were patiently waiting for their food) to be told that it was "2 minutes away, just around the corner". Funny really, as we live on the next street over.. Again we called at just gone half past 10, patience wearing thin (understandably), to be told "5 minutes, just around the corner". At this point, it was reasonable of us to request the order be cancelled and refunded. We'd waited long enough and had been more than patient with the, frankly, terrible excuses and "estimated" times. The girl on the phone was admittedly friendly and very apologetic, but that didn't deliver the food that we'd ordered nigh on 2 hours previous. After the order had been cancelled, we then received a phone call from the takeaway at approximately 10 to 11 claiming that the order had just been finished and was ready to be delivered should we wish to receive it. Not only does this show that the order was either forgotten about, or just plainly ignored, it also shows that they were willing to openly lie to us about how far away the order was on 2 separate occasions. Poor customer service and poor communication has left a more than sour taste, and we will not be seeking any further orders in the future, resulting in the loss of at least 2 frequent customers. Not just a negative effect on us, but also our guests who will also have nothing good to say to whoever they know going forward.

   Great Pizza but the chips could have been better! Enjoyed my Donner Pizza was perfectly cooked. Some of the Donner meat was burnt at the tips which was a little disappointing but overall it was a great pizza and well worth the value. I also ordered a chip butty which turned out to be disappointing. The bun was burnt and the chips were quite soggy. The chips didn't seem that fresh. I also ordered a Fanta bottle which was nice and cold.
