   What a superb example of a fish restaurant. Warmly welcomed by the owner and staff. The decor and ambience make the place very relaxing, which makes for a enjoyable evening. The quality of the food is amazing. The wine list was very comprehensive. If we lived nearer to Beverley, we would be booking a table every month!! - can't recommend the restaurant more highly. Thank you to all for lovely evening.

   Fabulous meal, wonderful service. Superbly cooked fish: halibut, monkfish and scallops. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we had a really lovely evening. Free parking about 1 minutes walk away. Excellent value for money.

   Cerutti 2 is by far my favourite place for seafood/fish in Yorkshire ( yes including Whitby and in years gone by, The Drum and Monkey in Harrogate). This family run business prides itself on the best quality, food,wine, service. When you walk through the door you can smell the aroma of great food from a proper working kitchen..no ready meals waiting for a microwave ping at this establishment. Tina, Tony, Dom and staff are excellent at making suggestions if you are struggling over the wonderful choices and 'specials board'. Nothing is too much trouble..and you are treated exactly the same, whether you're going through the full menu or having a simple dish of Fish & Chips.

   We visited the restaurant last night for the first time for my husbands 50th. We were greeted with smiles and the service was very attentive. The food was lovely and quickly served. We were probably the youngest in there by some way and did feel a little out of place but as a treat, it was different and we did enjoy it. We will go again in the future.

   Lol at the 1 star reviews...feel like they must have been a pain to deal with. Yet one of them gave 5 stars to Pizza Express...make of that what you will. Though there are improvements that could be made, the font on the menu is rather hard to read, along with the lack of space between the menu items. The spinach roulade I enjoyed, though wouldn't order again. The halibut fromage was a really, really nice piece of fish, perfectly cooked - but overpowered by the cheese sauce. I'd definitely go back though - and the wine/service were both top class.

   There was a great atmosphere on a Saturday evening at this family-run restaurant. The food was all beautifully cooked and presented. Service was exceptionally friendly and efficient. Good Italian wines and local beers etc. I don't like fish or seafood, but the non-fish options were excellent. All in all, one of the best meals we had had in a long time.
