   It really is a shame because the food is nice enough. Unfortunately the service is abysmal. This isn’t the first time we have waited over an hour after the expected delivery time for our food to arrive and I think it may be the last time we try. If you order mid afternoon, maybe it’ll arrive by dinner.

   After numerous attempts to speak to a member of staff over the phone. Finally answered, tried to briefly explain my notes I added on my order hadn’t saved & type of meat I’d like with my dish didn’t save either. The member of staff wouldn’t let me speak started to shout very loud towards me. Wouldn’t listen to me. Very got the impression because I was a woman too. My mother was on loud speaker with the call she can vouch for this. Always loved this restaurant. But to think it’s acceptable to speak to anyone like this is disgusting. We obviously requested him to cancel our order, which he reluctantly wanted to assist with. We had to end up hanging up the call as he wouldn’t stop shouting. I am very upset, if I was to go into restaurant I wonder how he’d talk to my face. Shame

   Great food service is good but slight mistake when asked to take home surplus sauce. But still great service especially from martin who is a true gent. Atmosphere is great as they play northern soul all night.

   I ordered a delivery and it took almost 3 hours to arrive I called to see where my order was and was told they were short on drivers and all I got was an apology, So I then called the mobile number on the just eat app and was told they would contact the restaurant and arrange extras but no extras arrived, I then text the mobile number and had no response! I am disgusted in the time it took for delivery that was almost 3 hours the fact they are charging £3 delivery and a 50p service charge for delivery and no compensation as if I was waiting 3 hours in a restaurant I would have had a discount applied to my bill I feel the customer service for delivery is disgraceful, Such a shame as the food was lovely but didn't expect to have to eat at 10:15pm after ordering at 7:30 I am highly disappointed in the service I received this evening

   The food has always been excellent for us, whether dining in or having takeaway. Staff are amazing, polite and efficient. Interior is lovely and very clean. Good Covid rules are being followed including customers having a 2 hour time-slot. The menu has so much choice and there is something for all tastes and varying spice levels. We also love that we can take our own wine! Thanks Alachi for consistently providing us with great food and service.
