Really big Asda with a huge car park. Well laid out store with George clothing and shoes upstairs. Large home section and then all the normal groceries. Can get quite busy, and then it can be hard to find a handheld scanner. There's a mcdonalds inside. The loos aren't great.
what a nice asda! 4 stars for an asda is a rarity but we enjoyed this one. absolutely massive car park which is nice. i wonder why there’s dark glass surrounding the cash machines outside? surely you can’t see anyone’s pin from that far away? really cool to see a maccies inside here too. lots of fun items like mushroom string lights! i loved the travelator! great view from the top showing the whole store. some really nice cosy pyjamas available at george ready for the colder seasons.
I went to Asda. There were so many people over there, so many cars. So when I went there, I asked the guy very nicely that "I have an order", he directly started shouting saying I don't have time for all this. I have so many orders already. I said to him that atleast listen to me, without any reason why would you shout? Then I said to him that this is my order and it's ready. Please give me my order but he refused to give me that order. And asked me wait. I was waiting for my order while other delivery drivers came after me and they all got the orders while I was still waiting for mine i wait 50 minutes have you seen the guy or my order were ready for pickup.
A nice supermarket. Very good bus connections with a very small interchange. Very large carpark with a fuel station and a collection area for on line orders you want to collect. Pleasingly nice wide isles in the store usual staples of the modern supermarket are on site including a bakery. I am not too keen on the small trolleys, wondered if they were for children at first Like most of the supermarkets you now have to fight your way around because the home delivery collectors are rushing to fill their trolleys
Very busy on a Friday night, and only 2 people on checkout. Queues could be managed better if Asda stopped trying to save on staffing costs by introducing more and more self-service checkouts.
Living in Bridlington, we only visit Kingswood possibly a few times or so a year. However, every time we go, we are always disgusted with the toilets. Upon visiting a few days ago, after having a dreadful experience at the McDonalds inside the store, I then went to the Asda toilets opposite the McDonalds and was nearly sick. The entrance before you even get to the toilets stunk horrible to a point of making you reach. These toilets are like this every time we visit, so either there's not enough staff cleaners, or they are not spraying anything to keep it nice. I will never visit the store again. Horrible experience form start to finish. It's a busy, filthy place Hull, and it makes me realise what a nice town we have in comparison.
Over 2 weeks and never any baskets at the entrance. Have to go looking for them. Went In the other day and the store was the quietest I've seen, yet still no baskets at the entrance. Also after speaking to staff they have told me there are reducing occupied tills to just 6!! Time to shop elsewhere now.. Nothing but greed.
Especially after 11 o'clock in the evening, when I went in to buy things, every time I needed help at the checkout, the staff said that I was very busy. Do I have to swipe everything by myself over there when I buy a lot of things? Is the happy to help written on the staff's clothes such an attitude? I'm talking about the old woman who works the night shift. It's ridiculous that asda hired this kind of staff.
Shocking service arranged a Saturday home delivery between 2 and 3 no delivery spent 65 minutes on the phone trying to sort it only to be told the money will be back in my account in 3 to 5 working days. we are on a budget like the rest of the country cost of living crisis and all. so what am I supposed to do in the meantime as it's the end of the month for my outgoing bills.SHOCKING WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS ASDA..
