The service was great, the lady on the phone and on delivery were lovely. But unfortunately, this might be the worst takeaway meal I’ve ever had. It’s that bad I’ve had to do this review halfway through my meal. I’m astonished that the lettuce was the most flavoursome part of the whole meal. Never again.
The most amazing bubble tea , so sweet and flavourful, the Chinese food is amazing and this is the best takeaway in witterings, amazing service and people everyone is so kind and so many flavours are available
Heidi and all do such an amazing job at running Wokon. The chinese food is delicious. the waffles are to die for! And the bubble teas are so refreshing. Great for a hot day! The atmosphere in the shop makes the whole experience even better! There are smiles all around and despite hard times they get through it like champions. Needless to say that their shop is also spotless! Can’t recommend wokon enough!
Wokon never disappoints me! This evening I had a munchie box and the portion sizes are very generous it could easily fill two people. the staff is always lovely and the food is just out this world amazing. Very good value money for this high quality food. Also the opportunity to get 10% off any order just by paying cash is a very good deal. Wokon will always be my go to Chinese. 100% recommend!
Delicious bubble tea freshly made to order. Amazing variety including popping bubbles. A great new addition to the E Wittering scene. Ignore all reviews older than July 2022, which are for a different place that used to be on the same site.
Frequent orderer from Saffron but I will NEVER order from there again. Rang up to place an order had to repeat my phone number 3 times and the man on the phone tried telling me it was too many numbers, while I was in the middle of speaking he says “you are wasting my time iv got no time for time wasters” then hung up on me. This is how you speak to returning customers is it? Disgrace
Didn't accept my order from uber eats for some strange reason. An hour after I placed order and only 30mins before I was expecting it. Was going to be the first time I used this place but after this they can do one. My local Indian take away. How dumb of you!!
Every upsetting experience with Saffron. Ordered my curry, and was told it would be 25min. Then I called them 1hr after I ordered and was told that it takes a time because the driver has gone out with 3 orders. When it turned up, the driver tried to take my payment by card, but he could not get his card reader to work. (Somehow this was my fault) then I asked him to call me from the shop and I will pay. I was eating my cold food when the phone rang 7 times in the next 5 minutes from the shop asking me to pay. I answered the call on the 8th time to tell them, I will call them when I have finished. Only to be told that I need to pay ASAP because I had not paid yet.... When i called up to pay, the guy did say sorry for calling so many times, but then said, that I did ask him to !! I have ordered from Saffron lots of times before, i will not be ordering EVER from Saffron again, as I have made to feel that I was stealing there food, and there was totally no understanding. BEWARE.
