   Rock up on a Sunday at 1700 sign outside saying we are serving food to be told be are closing soon! A bit poor on a Sunday at 1700 prime dinner time!

   Had the Roast buffet on a very busy Sunday. Loads of choice, lovely variety of veg, and generas portions of meat. Vegetarians catered for too. Staff very helpful, outdoor play area for kids

   What can i say, the carvery was delicious, a proper home cooked roast. My husband is fussy but he loved it. My eyes as usual were too big for my belly and they didn't hesitate to give me a container to take home. Great friendly bar lady called Kerry and perfect hosts Seb and Dulci. Thank you guys xx

   Really friendly bar staff however I wouldn't particularly recommend to go here. It's very clear they do not clean their lines for the draft beer well as my partners beer had dirt and grime in it and mine tasted off. They do serve food which looked nice and they were trying to create a nice atmosphere as the day we went they had lodes of inflatable games and a bouncy castle for the kids.

   Uhm yeah, do not go here. It was not till I nearly finished my pint I till noticed a ton of dust at the bottom of the glass. The beer did taste very weird, I have a feeling they do not clean their lines very often. Very grim atmosphere with the type of people that visit this pub. First and last time I will go to this pub. Best thing to do is just walk past this pub and not even look at it. Again, do not set foot in this pub.

   A beautiful old and charming pub full of history. The food here is excellent and cooked from scratch . However we did have to wait a while for our main course. The landlords are friendly and welcoming. The prices are good. Non alcoholic beers are available.

   Had a carvery at The Barleycorn today, absolutely delicious! Choice of 4 meats,lots of vegetables, Yorkshire puddings, plenty of meat and very tender, chef very Friendly and chatty.Staff very helpful, lovely venue and decor, dog friendly, we didn't have dessert as so full but table next to us had brownies and icecream which looked yummy! Car park outside and local parking near Maybush copse which is a great walk around woods and paths and leads you onto fields towards shore if you need to walk off your lunch ! Definitely would recommend pub to others ,great location and awesome staff.

   Truly delicious and presented superbly. The staff are lovely, efficient, smiley, helpful, friendly and certainly made us feel right at home and welcome. The food was delicious, very salty, which suited me, but not the others. Highly recommend dining here, just ask chef to hold the salt.
