   We reserved a table because it does get busy. Service was slow because they had a couple of large party of dinner guests in so the smaller tables were not the priority. Staff were friendly to people they knew but not quite as friendly/welcoming to people they didn't know. The food was warm, but a very nice beef roast.

   Delicious food in this comfortable pub with plenty of outdoor space. Obviously popular as there is an overflow car park. The staff were friendly but we were left waiting a little too long to order. Not a great atmosphere but it was Wednesday evening, I'd return on the weekend when next in the area. Definitely worth a visit for the food.

   1st time. We'll be back. My sons birthday dinner and they put H B. On his dessert plate. Food was good. The ladies were sweet and attentive. They also do bowls and snacks for dogs.

   A grand, dog-friendly, place to stop for Sunday lunch before walking at nearby Kingley Vale. Lovely food at a reasonable price. One star knocked off because they had no record of my telephone booking a few days previously. Fortunately they were able to accommodate us!

   I've eaten here twice now, The staff are excellent, The manager is a nice man who can be abrupt at times. Food is of a high quality and generally cooked well, duck comfy with dauphinoise and greens are very good and so is the steak but the triple cooked chips are not so good and I love peppercorn sauce but it was the same as everywhere does that I don't like, probably just me but 1 in 20 of them are amazing not this one. would recommend.

   Went for Sunday roast. Two not very large slices of meat, soggy Yorkshire pud and cauliflower cheese that had so little cheese sauce I thought it was just cauliflower! Edible but not particularly good and far better around.
