Food is no longer the same as before. Jollof rice is basically Pilau rice with colouring not jollof. Red Stew doesnt even taste the same, not even spicy. Even the chicken wings dont taste the same. Owner changed which means original Coco’s is gone even the food which is sad. If you want Coco’s dont order as its no longer the same as before. I dont recommend as its not authentic

As a long term customer who has actually returned over the years purely for the authentic flavours and quality of food. I am disgusted in what this place has turned into since the new ownership. They have changed recipes of the jollof, the mac, the coleslaw and other items and they are now disgusting. The place is a mess with kitchen staff wearing sliders with bear feet out. Service is slow and disorganised. Food is reheated in a microwave or cold and flavourless. Honestly such a shame to see somewhere that had massive potential decline like it has. I will not be revisiting coco’s again after the last visit where I experienced the slowest service I have ever seen (1 hour for a walk in take away order) as well as seeing that the recipe of the jollof now tastes of curry powder. Honestly all the staff and owners need to sell this place to someone who values the culture and quality.

Was told over the phone the 11.50 curry goat come with rice and plantain but when delivered come with just the meat when I phoned back they were rude and refused a refund or to deliver the rest of the food. Also the milkshakes taste watered down, not what I expected at all

Enjoy our meals here. Love the combo meats however the last two orders were incorrect by means of missing items which is so frustrating as we are out of area so would cost us yet again to revisit. Due to this we will probably go back to Natty's jerk instead in future.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lively and energetic.

My friend recommended me to Cocos as I'm new to Portsmouth and was craving for some Caribbean food. I had an enquiries and Cocos answered quickly on the Google chat. The food was delivered on time, well presented and I didn't find it salty. I will order again!

Had to wait a long time for the food to be delivered and although I will say the chicken was good, I would not recommend the Mac N Cheese. It was like a cake, solid, not creamy at all and didn’t taste very nice. Would eat here again as mentioned the chicken was very good especially in burgers

Great value for money, you get massive portions for the price and the chicken is amazing, I have a feeling that it might not be for everyone if they don't have the right stomach to handle some of the food, but as long as you can the food is amazing
