Worst Indian takeaway I've ever had. The Bombay potatoes were rock hard. Onion bhaji was undercooked and had next to no seasoning. The Vindaloo was hot but didn't taste like vindaloo and our keema naan was only a 3rd full of meat. Absolutely shocking from a takeaway that has been open for so many years..new chef maybe ?
First time trying this takeaway and will definitely use again. Very quick delivery and extras thrown in for free which is a lovely touch. Lovely man who took the order and delivered.
Best takeaway for Indian/Bangladesh food. Excellent value, especially the set meals. Food always full of flavour and always still hot on delivery. Never had a bad meal.
First time we have tried this Indian takeaway. I asked for my usual chicken tikka masala but to vindaloo strength. Absolutely gorgeous and the dish they recommended was spot on, extremely tasty. Delivered very quick for a Friday night. Very good first impression.
Been using the Curry Garden for about the last 20 plus years still the same owner all that time. A great little takeaway, if not the best, one of best in Fareham/Gosport area, price wise it’s shocking, so good value. We now live 10 miles away and still travel back to the Curry Garden to collect an order. Reading the reviews on here seem most of moans and groans are for delivery side via 3rd party apps. Just go and collect 20-30 mins max.
Best curry in gosport in my experience. Never had a bad dish. Prompt delivery always hot and full of flavour. Chicken madras and special fried rice is always a winner.
Ordered two curry's for me and my partner. Absolutely amazing food. Cheapest around and was given a free side dish too. Brilliant service will definitely be using again.
I ordered via the just eat app and after waiting 2hrs I called to see where it was, I was simply told it was on it way and the hung up on. It eventually arrived but the order was completely wrong and cold. Rang back to explain was told sorry, then hung up on I rang back immediately and again was hung up on. In the end I drove down to the shop to return the food. They offered a free meal but after all the agro I didn't want anything from them. In the end I got some food from another take out on my way home and now I have to apply for a refund via just eat. Absolutely ridiculous, and appualing customer service. Will never order from them again and will advise others to avoid them aswell.
My husband ordered from the 'Just Eat' app last Saturday at about 7:30pm at around 9pm he called to see where our food was, the lady said it was 20 minutes away! She was rather abrupt on the phone - you should always remember we are paying customers. Finally our food arrived at 10pm - no apology, the delivery person just said they didn't have a satnav!? Food was okay, I've had better. That was the first and last time we'll order from the Curry Garden. We won't be ordering again because of rudeness and the ridiculous length of time it got to us. Thank you to 'Just Eat' for compensating us with a partial refund.
