We order from Fareham knowing that it might not be red hot when we get it but its worth it because the portions are great and the taste is one of the best!
Best Chinese I’ve had in years. Ordered egg fried rice, shredded chilli beef, salty chips and seaweed. The beef was crunchy and flavourful, the rice was delicious, chips were crispy and salty, seaweed packed a punch. 10/10. Will be ordering from here in the future!
First time we have ordered from here and it was lovely. Only criticism I have is that I ordered duck in orange which was very plentiful but it came with pineapple which I am not keen on. May be good to offer as an option. Chicken curry was lovely
Wow. Honestly the wait time was short and sweet. The food was incredible especially the prawn toast and shredded chilli beef and the service was so polite and welcoming. 100/10 will definitely being coming back!
Another fantastic meal from the New Golden Wok. Even the thin beef, which from other restaurants is chewy, from the Golden Wok just melted in the mouth. From ease of ordering over the phone to the friendly delivery driver always a great service

A lovely lady took my order, she was very polite. Order arrived on time. The order was correct. The food : big portions. Sweet and sour sauce was perfect Chicken balls were the best my husband has tasted. Bbq ribs were salty but good. Chips were good. The shredded chilli beef was good. The only thing I wouldn't have again was the curry as it tasted like chicken gravy. Would order from here again with out the curry.
The chef(s) appear to be working from a very different Chinese Cuisine recipe book than every other Chinese restaurant or take away that I've personally frequented. That's not to say that the food was bad, per se. More that what you order may not be what you expect, if you've ever ordered Chinese food anywhere else. As I like to order what I'm hungering for and not Chef's Pot Luck, I will not be using the services of this establishment again.
