   Hands down one of the best places I have ever eaten breakfast. The quality of the ingredients shines through every single bite, and is outstanding for the price. If I was being really picky over the food, the fried bread could do with being a touch less oily, but that is a minor quibble. The large breakfast was easily too much food and even the "standard" breakfast was too much to handle in one sitting. Staff were fine with providing us take out boxes for the rest though. Service was fantastic and everything was done with a smile.

   Really enjoyable first visit to Katie's. This place was packed from opening on a Sunday morning so I would recommend trying to book! The menu is music themed which was a nice touch and quite different from anything else I've been to in the Portsmouth area. The food is good quality, it's not a greasy spoon by any means! Everything comes in good portions and tastes great.

   The menu is fairly extensive, however at the top each section is the main menu and as you look down it's just small adjustments, giving a wide range of choice. Having said this it caterers well for vegetarian and vegan palettes. The food is well cooked and presented, the staff are friendly and helpful. Only recently found this place via friend and enjoy its atmosphere and distinctive features. My only gripe are the loos, need a paint and a spruce up and one needs the lock replacing. Hence the 4 stars. I always judge a place on the state of the loos, I think it shows cleanliness throughout the establishment.

   Nice cafe different from the rest nice music theme based around old school vinyl records which is having a big revival :) Nice coffee great service Menus fun too :) Good choice
