   Service was awful, it was a Sunday afternoon, football on tv, quite a lot of people in the pub for Sunday lunch. 1 person serving behind the bar so there was quite a wait and a long queue. Had no milk so could not make hot drinks and were really matter of fact about it (there is a co op across the road) vegetarian offering was poor so I had the roast with no meat. Food service was pretty good, there was 10 of us and food came out pretty much together. Would I come back? Not in a hurry

   This is the most amazing pub/restaurant in Gosport! Always a happy service, especially the fellow named Martin, always greets me with a smile and shows top professionalism. A real credit to the brand. Claire and Carl are brilliant aswell!! You feel like family when being served. Always my go to choice when Im heading out

   The biggest thank you to Claire and her team at the Cocked Hat. We booked here for my Grandmothers wake, and we are so pleased we did. I highly recommend for any function, you will not be disappointed. Claire the manager has been truly amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and made the whole process seamless and stress free. The spread that they put on was amazing and everyone was commenting on how good the food was. The area we had for the wake was perfect and Claire was so attentive during the whole time. Once again thank you so much

   Fantastic food and drink. Jamie was great accommodating my love of spicy food - asked for the boneless wings done extra spicy and they were great but when I asked for another portion done even hotter they absolutely hit the spot - pure lava with the Tabasco Scorpion Sauce. Not many places are so pleasant to visit and so accommodating with the menu. Also…. Giant 2 pint glasses of Guinness! Thank you!

   Reserved a table for ten people. Ordered dinner with the app. Good choice of burgers, salads etc. After we had first drink went to the bar to order another drink. Was bit of a long wait, because only one bartender was serving and another bartender was doing something else. Ordered a San Miguel beer..... sold out. Well that can happen, so ordered a Fosters. I got the beers served in PLASTIC cups. Reason obviously they hadn't washed up. I was too surprised to make any comments, but for me it was an absolute no go. Pitty as I heard so much good about this place.
