“This is a great pub and well liked and supported. I would give 5 stars for food but they only do food on special nights i.e. Burns night supper, whisky tasting. Easy to drink a "few" here and especially good guest ale on tap. Top shelf whisky crawl is something else too!”

The food was lovely and hot. Will definitely be going back again. It has a great menu with lots of fabulous choices.”

We found the menu and were sold! We were so impressed! The pub was welcoming, warm and homely. The lad who served us was so polite and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing, that home made slaw...OMG! and they actually serve Pepsi max, No-one ever seems too. Absolutely thrilled with our unplanned lunch date and would definitely return. We did have to extend our walk home though as we were soooo full up we needed to walk it off. Portion sizes were immense.”

“What a super transformation for this pub. The ladies who run it now have transformed it. The food was excellent the service extremely friendly and the prices reasonable. There was also a lovely, happy atmosphere about the place and all the customers we saw come and go were very relaxed and cheery. There was a list of future events on show and we will definitely be visiting some of these. Loved the retro music which was played at sensible volume levels.”

“I am a Dental Therapist and I highly recommend Bex. She has done my teeth and my Husband's. I rave about her to anyone that will listen. She goes above and beyond has a wonderful calming nature and is very knowledgeable. If you are thinking about getting your teeth looked at visit Bex there is no hard sale, she is honest has integrity and the prices are really good. Where I used to work in private practice a scale and polish was £22 more than what Bex charges and teeth whitening an extra £295 Don't put off getting your teeth done, it's not just for aesthetic reasons she can tell so much about your general health just by looking inside your mouth. This is a small local business run by two ladies and we should support and encourage that especially in the current climate.”

“Really enjoyable first visit to Katie's. This place was packed from opening on a Sunday morning so I would recommend trying to book! The menu is music themed which was a nice touch and quite different from anything else I've been to in the Portsmouth area. The food is good quality, it's not a greasy spoon by any means! Everything comes in good portions and tastes great.”
