“As pilots we visit Solent Aerodrome several times a year. Cafe Zero 5 provides a quick, comfortable place to relax. The staff are excellent, efficient and friendly hosts. There's a good range of drinks and cakes as well as a good menu of hot food just right for flyers. This is all true for non flying patrons who have the benefit of large windows and stools from which to watch the planes - often Spitfires - and a large garden with picnic benches and some play equipment for youngsters. Excellent in every respect.”

“Whilst out enjoying the day, popped head in to see if had to book. Currently taking walk-ins. Went for afternoon tea. Before ordering check tea menu. As could have of main list not just a basic tea. Pick your choice well, some interesting flavours. Minor issue, but well sorted by the staff at the time. A loverly time in there, will be back. Big thanks to Sarah whom looked after us today, on our first visit.”

“Staying with friend from Bath for few days stay. Friend recommended this place for a spot of lunch. Menu choice really good. Light bites, afternoon teas, good selection of drinks etc. lovely places to sit inside and outside, nice and quiet. Friendly staff and informative too. Had delicious tuna mayo jacket potato and a cappuccino. Lovely little side salad with extra butter too for potato. Pricing v good. Will look forward to visiting again at some point. Thankyou”

“I have used the Crew Mess weekly for years and always enjoy a great breakfast, served swiftly by Michelle at very fair prices. Hat's off to Michelle, who opens up seven days a week and keeps the Greasy Spoon cafe tradition alive. There are also healthy options for the more discerning. There is parking further up Mumby Road or parking is free for 1 hour in the Premier Marine marina carpark over the road (last time I checked). The review is entirely for selfish reasons; there's too few traditional English breakfast cafe's around these days :)”

“Very small place but absolutely beautiful place lovely friendly staff .Seating outside with tables and chairs or u can sit on the hill with benches and tables .Hot food available and drinks hotand cold .Been coming here over 20 years and the owner never lets us down .Also sells beach balls buckets spades etc .Beautiful views of Isle of wight and you can see the red funnels going over to cowes etc”

“This cafe is good. They cater for some dietary restrictions and being Morrisons their prices are not bad. The shop is on one level (ground floor) and is easy to get round even on a mobility scooter. If you need help just ask. The staff are very friendly and helpful”

“Oh my goodness! I love this little independent coffee shop! The whole team are welcoming and lovely. The coffee is smooth and hits the spot, and the food is simply delish! My faves are their Tuna & Cheese Toasted Sandwich with the Blondie for pudding to go with my cappuccino. There’s lots of yummy treats to choose from and their hot chocolate is PROPER hot chocolate. Definitely recommend.”

“I am a member of Andy's Man Club, Gosport Branch, and each Thursday morning, we take the largest, longest table as a group, where we are free to chat, in a more, light hearted, relaxed atmosphere. We love this place, as we get great service, great coffee and have built a rapport with the lovely staff. They have a wonderful product and a great customer loyalty scheme, and whilst at times, we can appear chaotic, especialy when our group get rather loud and sometimes boisterous, nothing is too much trouble to the fabulous staff, who are happy, smiley and always very pleasant. This establishment means alot to our group and we really appreciate the kindness shown on EVERY visit. Thank you guys, we love you all..❤️❤️❤️”
