   Sorry folks, not the best cafe I've ever been in. A sign said " Busy". Err, how so, exactly, a tumbleweed was rolling thru the place. Too busy to forget the chips? You're meant to serve them on the plate with the rest of the food, not 5-10 minutes later in a basket! Beware , hungry of Gosport...

   Surprise visit as original idea for lunch was closed. Really lovely staff, very oldy-worldy (?!), just didn't have anything vegan to eat or non-dairy milk, but I had hot water to drink so was happy! We will be returning ☺️

   Good tasty traditional British cooking. They are always willing to adjust the food according to personal taste or need. Usually a variety of vegetables available I ate in and had a fruit crumble with custard for takeaway .

   Edited review 21st May 2021: Originally visited 7 months ago after first lockdown and came back here as it was delicious and we gave them 5 stars. On our return, what a disappointment. Completely different standard from before. It seems as though they've cut back on a lot of things especially quality of food. One of these being the sausages which are now bland and tasteless. Fried eggs were overcooked so no yolk for me today. Tinned tomatoes were mush no whole tomatoes at all and no more Heinz ketchup! Went to fold my bread and butte in half to make a sandwich and it broke in half as if it was stale. Gutted. Just a normal bog standard café with no customers on a Friday morning. Such a shame as we travelled 40 mins to get here! Hopefully they act on our feedback but we won't be returning to be let down again. What a gem of a place! Had the works breakfast and a special made breakfast with a latte and regular coffee. Eggs cooked to perfection and lovely sausages which aren't your standard bland cheap ones! We eat out a lot and this is possibly the best cooked breakfast we have had out. Must try if you're ever in the area!
