   Woke up this morning and thought what a beautiful day for the beach. Packed the car up and took 2 of my children down and set up for the day. After an hour we decided to head towards the shack for an ice cream. Served very quickly by a sweet young girl. Ordered a coffee, a pop up ice lolly (calipo style) and a mini milk for my 1 year old. I opened these straight away handed the pop up to my 5 year old but couldn’t give the mini milk to my 2 year old because it was mush. At this point my coffee hadn’t even been made, so turned back to ask the girl if she could get me another another mini milk from the bottom of the freezer. I was extremely pilite as I know these things happen. The young girl said it was because they’re opening the freezer constantly, but I did ask her to check if there was a more solid one please. The owner then went to her freezer, grabbed out another and opened it, barked at me and said there’s nothing h wrong with her freezer and if I was to hold an ice lolly the way I was it was bound to melt! She was so rude I was gobsmacked! The crowd of people behind all cringed too at this point. She carried on muttering away about how much I must have melted the lolly myself in my hands and then went back to her cauldron (one can only assume by her behaviour that that was what she cooks on). I did attempt to defend myself but then thought what was the point, some people are just down right rude, uneducated and unfriendly. A lovely lady behind me gave me a friendly smile and commented on how friendly I had been. Just to note, I wasn’t commenting on how your freezer was working, I just wanted a frozen mini milk, to match the frozen ice lolly I’d just bought from you. What a horrid experience and such a shame.

   Today I witnessed the lowest level of rude behaviour from the absolute dragon of an owner, so much so, I took my custom elsewhere. A young mother buying ice cream for her adorable child, simply requested a more solid ice lolly as straight from the freezer it was clearly melting. The manageress responded in a fashion that could reduce some young mothers to tears. At least 3 others left the queue for the same reason. Take your custom elsewhere people.

   Very small place but absolutely beautiful place lovely friendly staff .Seating outside with tables and chairs or u can sit on the hill with benches and tables .Hot food available and drinks hotand cold .Been coming here over 20 years and the owner never lets us down .Also sells beach balls buckets spades etc .Beautiful views of Isle of wight and you can see the red funnels going over to cowes etc

   Lovely location only had ice cream but looks like a good and well run eatery. So great a location only be mindful of car park charges only £1.10 per hour ,free if you dare.

   I've been stopping off here for years. It is what it says on the sign; a shack, that does lite bites, drinks and trinkets. Always seems to be open when I pop in. Reasonably priced, espeically as they have the monopoly at that end.

   Always jolly, nice to have a decent cup of tea after a walk along the beach. Offers basic snacks, fish finger sandwiches, chips, burgers, and various cakes all takeaway plus ices for the little ones.

   Great. Well cooked food in a great location. The people there were welcoming and it's nice to have hot drinks in china mugs and not ubiquitous plastic or paper ones. Also nice watching the light planes flying over from and to the Solent Airport..

   Lovely little place in a great location. Great in the summer. We went here in the windy weather and it was closed today but you can see the stones all over the car park. Becareful in storms at this car park. But do come when the weather is good. The beach is great for swimming all times of the day
