   First visit in a long time to the Fox recently. It's a great little pub and location. But if the title of Gosport's oldest pub is to keep going the pub company (Admiral) urgently need to support the new Landlord and ensure the selection of cask ales is improved. There are several other excellent locations nearby including a craft beer tap room virtually next door. So it's imperative to help the choice in the area that good and different offering is available. It's a positive step to have at least one Cask - London Pride. Albeit on on a poor beer engine sucking air somewhere. I'd like to see Bass being available as regular and maybe more guest ales. I look forward to visiting again. I wish the Landlord the best of luck.

   It's been a lovely afternoon visiting the fox.. was super impressed with the cleanliness of every area. Ladies toilets were beautiful and clean and smelling devine. A proper pub with a proper atmosphere. Can't wait to come back. Good luck to the new management they're doing amazing.. Lorna the bar staff always welcoming with a smile.

   Came here today for lunch with my parents, mostly based on the name because I love foxes, and what a lovely pub it is! The landlord and landlady were so friendly and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious with generous portions and excellent value for money! It has a really authentic pub feel, with a pool table, darts board and secluded outside dining/drinking area. Couldn't really ask for more and will definitely be back!

   Best pub in Gosport by far! In the past lots of negative comments heard, but not anymore! Bev Phil and the crew have more than turned this pub around. Whether you’re with your friends, colleagues, family, children, you are more than welcome and ALWAYS feel comfortable! Great atmosphere and great food! Honestly couldn’t for a better pub or staff. If you’ve had a bad experience in the past, I can guarantee if you had another go you wouldn’t be disappointed!! Well done for all you have done guys!!! X
