Lovely Staff, the chairs and tables are all different. Very child friendly, the quirkness of this place is wonderful. And the food is lovely.

Beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious cocktails. The Black Forest martini was a delight. The food was ok, weird combination of flavours in the chicken wrap - the flat bread was good though They offer a great choice of gluten free and vegan food

I recently visited Ponto Lounge ahead of a visit to Hull New Theatre. I have visited a number of the ‘Lounges’ and have found the dining experience to be consistently great; Ponto was no exception. Staff were welcoming and professional. I have rated the service as average as with QR code ordering and payment you are more or less serving yourself with the exception of the drinks and food being brought to table. The food arrived quickly after ordering despite the restaurant seeming pretty busy and was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was warm and cosy with just the right around of atmospheric lighting (not too dark like other places trying to achieve a similar vibe). I highly recommend Ponto Lounge to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Hull.

Our party of 4 popped into the Ponto Lounge for a quick lunch after attending my daughters graduation ceremony. It wasn't too busy, and we found a table quite easily. The menu is quite varied, and we all found something we could eat. 1 Bacon Triple-Stacked Butter Milk Pancakes, 1 Tuna melt Panini, 1 Bacon Cheese Smash Burger, and 1 Korean Fried Chicken Burger, 1 Latte, 1 Mocca, and 2 diet coke with no ice. One thing I find very strange is the fact that you order your food through an app that then asks you to add a tip to the total before you have even seen your food or experienced the quality of service. I didn't add a tip, I can't see who would, and maybe that influenced our treatment from the staff. When the drinks arrived, the 2 cokes came with ice, so i pointed out that we didn't want ice. The guy that brought them out was very aggressive and said, "You ordered ice!" I said that if I did, i was a mistake, and could we have the ice removed. The guy just stormed off, leaving the drinks on the table. He returned a couple of minutes later, snatched the drinks up, and stormed off again. Around 5 minutes later, the guy returned with 2 cokes with no ice, and without saying a word, slammed them down on the table, and walked off. 3 of the meals arrived after around 10 minutes, and we had to wait another 5 minutes for the last one. The burgers and pancakes were very nice, but the Tuna melt panini was burnt and had no tuna in it. My wife didn't want to make a fuss about it, so we ate up and left. I don't think I can recommend this place to anyone, due to the rudeness of the staff and one meal being a total disaster.

The menu was quite varied - plenty of choice. Service was initially fine but it took AGES to get food (around 40 minutes) and it wasn't particularly busy. We had the Fishfinger butty with fries. The Fishfinger butty was fine but the fries were oven chips. [I can’t answer you Harry, so updating my review. We went to the restaurant on Sunday at around 12, not sure what other details you need]

Food was lovely and they do cater for people with allergies which is nice. Also dog friendly, another plus. Staff are very friendly and the place is lovely and clean. There is a decent choice on the menu ranging from breakfast to dinner and there is also a good selection of drinks and cocktails. Would recommend

First time using the Ponto Lounge but won't be my last. We went for a business dinner and we were not let down by the staff, food or standards. We caught "Taco Tuesday" which is a steal and so filling with the 3 courses. The house red, that came with the taco deal, was smooth and warm, very nice! As I live in the Midlands, the service and quality of food at the Ponto Lounge, will now make me seek them out down here. Not sure who the gentleman was who served us and waited on us but his attention , service and personality were spot on!
