   Restaurant is noisy and overcrowded. Takeaway no better. Ordered a few times. Quality varies a lot. Just has my order cancelled as they got it wrong and didn't bother to send it out. Garbage service. Won't be using again

   Always enjoy a meal here and last night was no exception. We took advantage of the 14.95 three course meal and had Chicken Bhuna and Beef Balti, it was beautiful. Really friendly and helpful staff too who made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend a visit here.

   We ordered a takeaway from Saffron tonight and collected as we expected it to be busy on a Saturday night. The chicken bhuna is one of the best I've ever had! Absolutely delicious. My husband had a lamb Rogan Josh and was equally impressed with it. The chips are really nice (needed salt adding but actually nice chips) and the Bombay aloo was really nice. This is our go-to Indian locally now. We have eaten in the restaurant before and have always enjoyed it immensely

   After having food delivered, myself and my other half, looked at me and said it doesn’t taste of anything? I found neither did mine!!!! I rang to explain this and was met by a completely uninterested man who basically said he did not believe me and that no one had ever complained before! I simply thought that something had gone wrong in the preparation of the food. The man added that he would not be giving this feedback to the chef as it was untrue!!!!! So how the hell can he know if he’s made a bad meal? God help you all out there if you dare to criticise the food! Zero out of 10

   We have gone here for years. The starters are superb, gorgeous onion bhaji, chicken tikka, popadoms and sauces.. we go mainly for those!!. The mains just take it down a bit for us.. not as good as they used to be.. i dont eat the chicken in them and sometimes the curry tastes of stock.. however other times they are tastier. We would like the tandoori chicken off the bone to go back on the menu!. We do go back as the starters are so good.

   First time I have been to saffron lounge and will definitely go again .me and husband cane for our 20th anniversary meal and I was impressed with the food staff was lovely and everything was lovely and clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to people who like Indian they won't be disappointed

   Wonderful meal! We staff where brilliant - one of the small children on our table ordered chips and then asked for some tomato sauce and the waiter say they didn’t have any but he went out to a nearby shop and specially bought some. Would definitely recommend and I would definitely come back.
