Always fresh, always good service. This place is far enough out of the normal grind that it's always quiet. Good service but you won't get reception on your phone

Totally totally rubbish experience. We arrived to find a notice on the counter saying to make an order on the screens behind us. Turned around, ALL 3 screens were out of order! We couldn't get some of the offer prices without the app, but I was also having trouble with the app. I had an item for Β£5.99 in the basket, but it was trying to charge me Β£12.47. see attached screenshot. So...... How was I supposed to order? Husband and daughter managed to make an order each. But by this point I had had enough. I did not make an order, I went without food!!! There were 2 staff on duty. Only 2. They couldn't help re the app or orders, they apologised and I felt deeply sorry for them having to deal with this. It's no wonder McDonald's was full and burger king was empty except for us. As a family, given a choice we would normally choose Burger King for the quality of the food. However, I certainly won't be returning any time soon as the ability to make a quick order for supposedly "fast" food is quite frankly non existent. Service levels are unbelievably poor, probably due to far too few staff. McD is much better staffed at all sites, and BK is consistently understaffed. Had it ever occurred to management that maybe if service levels were increased, then the footfall would also then increase. Let me make this clear again. It's not the food that will be stopping us from returning, it's the unbelievably painful ordering experience and the poor staffing, hence poor service levels. It's not their fault, it's a problem much higher up somewhere.

Always a good experience at Burger King Willerby. Fast service, polite staff, clean restaurant, and consistently good food and hot fries just the way I want it. Highly recommended.

Used the Drive through. Firstly, I have used this branch 3 times now very recently. I have never been asked if I wanted to 'go large' on my order, or offered any sides. Never even get offered Ketchup, napkins etc. Today (17/12/25), my Bacon double cheese XL meal was burnt . I know it's flame grilled but burnt is not acceptable. It spoilt my lunch entirely and I was not able to finish it! The patties were overcooked to carbon around the edges and the bun was over toasted too. I have used Burger King many times in many locations, but this is the first time the meal was inedible.

Recommended by a friend. Food was far tastier than MacDonalds and service not so rushed. Fairly new place so pretty quiet. All in all a good find.

Enjoyed our Vegan Royal burger here, it was really good and tasty, far superior to the McDonald's veggie burger. The chips were nice and crispy and not at all greasy and it was all served hot.

Burger Kings are an enigma to me. The burgers are better than at McDonalds if made properly. The last BK I went to at a motorway services was an utter discgrace. Filthy, cold food, staff who you knew wanted you to f$ck off. I vowed not to give them my business again, but I went to the Willerby one because my daughters insisted. It was very good. (Almost) completely clean, chav-free and friendly staff. More importantly the food was nice, and relatively warm. (I found the onion rings a bit bland though.) I'd go back.

Unfortunately, I have to give Willerby Burger King a star or I canβt leave a review!! I arrived with my 10 year old daughter, placed our order and paid. We went to the toilet, came out and food was ready!! We sat down to eat, she took a bite out of her chips and they were stone cold. I went back to the counter, were I proceeded to tell a member of staff (Mason) the chips are cold. He shook me off at first, then when I questioned what wasnβt he taking the chips, he started to argue back about me being in the toilet for 10 minutes!! It hadnβt even been 5 minutes since Iβd ordered the food. I said are you not going to change them, his answer was βno, because it was me that was in the wrongβ he them started to mutter stuff under his breath and roll his eyes at me!! Luckily, another member of staff came over to see what the disturbance was about and replaced the chips!! Even a young lad in there was shocked by his response!! In all my days of been in hospitality, have I ever witnessed any member of staff speak to a customer like that!! Totally rude, unprofessional and disrespectful!! I am local, I can see why this restaurant was empty and there were no costumers!! I would never recommend or return to this place and our family is a big fan of Burger King!! After reading the other reviews, turns out Iβm not the person thinking this!! Such a same!!
