We had a lovely lunch at Blondes. Between us, we had hot dogs, burgers, and pancakes, and also bought some things to take home too. Great food, friendly and helpful staff, and it's always nice to be able to choose from a whole menu. My son loved his 'milk'shake and I had a Jaffa latte, which was really tasty.
Absolutely lovely food. Great portion sizes and everything is cooked fresh. Loads of different things to buy from food to gifts. We had the pancake stack and all day breakfast.
Recently decided to go vegan with my wife and decided to try out the local vegan cafe. The staff were incredibly helpful, offering valuable advice for newcomers like us. The menu provided a plethora of fresh and delicious options, creating a tough choice with so much variety. The atmosphere was lovely, and the extensive selection of vegan alternatives was impressive. Looking forward to our next visit, and the mocha was the best I've had in a long time!
Really like it here. They have hot food, a pastry bar, a dessert bar, zero waste products, vegan cheeses* and things for dogs. Might be worth noting that as of this time they don't have upstairs seating. *they have violife, green vie as well as more artisan brands. My favourites are the Kinda Co farmhouse (comes regular and smoked), Kinda Co chilli cheese and the Nerominded Black cheese. Tbh the Nerominded is similar to the farmhouse, with both being sharp and tangy cheeses.
One of the best cinnamon rolls in Hull! Always super welcoming and friendly, the food is incredible, and their house blend of coffee is fantastic. Even picked up some mini pasties as a treat for the dogs today (the proceeds of which are donated to a local greyhound charity). Cannot recommend this little cafe highly enough, they even have local handmade products such as candles available if you ever need a last minute gift with your coffee.
Bought a selection of savoury and sweet GF items for a catch up with friends (only one is GF) and OMG they were all amazing. The lemon meringue was a clear favourite. Such a great tempting choice and friendly staff - definitely going back!
Love Blondes. Great people, lovely food. Choice of desserts that are gf too, so I can buy my sister a treat. Love supporting such a fab local business.
Amazing Place, great decor and fab food, we went miles out of the way and it didn't disappoint We were travelling from N Yorks to Lincolnshire and decided we could pop in to Cottingham for this place, it was epic! I'm not a breakfast person but I was in love with their bagel, omellete, sausage, hashbrown, beans and cheese!!! My partner got a homemade beetburger with extra hash browns- it all tasted amazing, the tables are fab, its nice and roomy upstairs and they have a great selection in their shop- we picked up some violife extra mature and could have easily got lots more! We even stayed a while in the village so we could have their amazing dessert and milkshakes-divine! if we are ever in the area we will definetly return as it was a great experience. A SUPER FINE example of a vegan cafe!!!!
