A beautifully located am well maintained place . We had Sunday lunch which was really nice However I feel the staff need training on customer care skills. Having employed staff We to found this lacking to a point we will not return . It is always nice to be asked if we enjoyed the food……Also we noticed a young girl serving stood at the bar putting her fingers through her hair . In general very poor service Also the dresser I ordered was not available and the young girl said there was an alternative to this but wasn’t sure what it was??We usually tip generously but no tip I’m afraid . Customer care is of great importance Denise Blanchard ( retired business owner)

I've gone with my family several times now and everything has been perfect. I especially enjoy the scotch eggs and their roast chicken with wild mushrooms. Sunday roast, while busy, is worth the wait as well. We are excited to frequent here and try more of the menu

Visited here today and enjoyed a lovely meal with the family. The pub has a fresh look from the outside. It’s very clean gardens is well maintained and welcoming. Plenty of free car parking with security cameras for added safety. Inside is clean and welcoming. The staff (two young females) were amazing very friendly helpful and professional. We ordered drinks and were told please go sit down and we’ll bring you your drinks. The food was delicious I had fish and chips and this was beautiful, steak and ail pie, fish pie and scampi. Side we had onion rings. All of this food was cooked to perfection and hot with good sized positions. For dessert it was double chocolate pecan brownies with ice cream and I had rice pudding with pears. Again this was delicious. We were not rushed and the service from this two members of staff was spot on. Would I visit here again? Definitely yes Would I recommend this venue? Definitely yes

Called last minute for a Sunday dinner, the gent that took the booking was brilliant. Very warm and friendly. The atmosphere in the place is great. Very family friendly and staff always attentive and polite. The Sunday dinner we had beef. Cooked perfect! Yorkshire puddings bigger than your head. The food was delicious thank you to the chef and the awesome staff. Thank you for a great Sunday and fitting us in on short notice, can not wait to come back !!

The friendly staff got us a table during a busy Sunday afternoon without having to book a table. The fish and chips were good and we were well looked after, the only negative was the waiting time for the meals. However if you want good honest pub grub at a reasonable price give this place a try.
