   I always enjoy the food from here; it is prepared quickly and easily by pleasant and friendly staff. The chips are consistently fresh and delicious, and the large fish is certainly ample. There is also a great selection of sides and drinks available. It offers good value for money as well. While it is cash only, there is a convenient ATM located right outside, so that presents no issue. I will definitely be returning.

   Today weather was Georges with blue skies. After my shopping done fancied fish and chips. After reading good reviews decided to try and ordered lightly buttered fish snd chips which made my day . It was lovely golden crispy and melted in mouth. Thanks for the beautiful fish abd chips and making my day.

   Place has just gotten super greedy, they keep putting the prices up and lowering portion sizes. Waste of money now. Save yourself and just go to dollies and get way more food, this is their portion size now. Just awful.

   Nice staff butt worst fish and chips I have ever had, Batter was thick and mushy in middle, fish was rubbish and won't be going back, got large fish and also a medium, very little fish in both

   Called whilst passing by on the way to Beverley. They skinned the fish before cooking it,( in beef dripping).No jockey fish here, this was a full thick fillet and was delicious, crisp, crunchy batter. Craig the fryer knows his job. Only in Hull occasionally, but know where to come for fish & chips in the future.

   Fish was nice but chips was a bit too soft...overall, a nice meal. Disappointed that they insist on cash only... I would expect that in this day/age, every respectable business would have a POS terminal as most folks use their phones for all transactions now and don't always carry cash or card around.

   the batter was hard, thick and could barely taste the sausage inside. And is the same with the fish and patties. This place was at one time a really good chirpy but has been going slowly down hill the past few years. Need to train their staff better and then it’ll be as good as it once was
