Staff very friendly and polite. Food is cooked beautifully not dry. Chips cooked very well and not raw. Think this has to be the best chippy in beverely by far now all the other have gone down hill maybe the rest could learn a bit or two from this one.
First time having food from here after living in Beverley for just over a year. Fish hot out of the fryer so did not have time to drain the oil. Nice piece of fish with good chunky potatoes.

My mum lives close by this chippy and From time to time we get together as a family and we have a chippy dinner. This chip shop is just too hit miss now, occasionally I have had a really pleasant fish from there but 8 times out of ten it's dry and overcooked. Had one yesterday and the fish was dry and chewy in parts and had a strange taste. I've had fish fritters from there but the last time we had those the batter was dark to the point of almost being burnt! I'm starting to wonder if we are getting Friday nights left overs that have been put back in the fryer. This seems to be a common complaint in the reviews for all the branches, is it a case that Stuarts have bought out so many chippies that they gave the financial monopoly to not care about the quality?
Fish and chips really nice, with a choice of cod or haddock, reasonable prices too.
This is an excellent Fish & Chip Shop, everything is freshly cooked for you and the staff are very pleasant. It's going to be a very sad day this weekend, when after 28 years service, Elaine leaves. She certainly knows what her regulars orders are and even buys special treats for some four legged friends, my lovely Annie included.
Great fish and chips and really friendly staff. Sorry to hear Elaine is leaving after serving customers for the last 28 years. My partners dog will certainly miss her as she has a supply of gravey bones that she gets off her when passing the shop early in a morning.
