   Rang Asham asking if they delivered to North Cave, they do!!! Explained I didn't have a menu so explained what we like and left it to them! Paid over the phone although cash to the driver is an option too. 30 mins later our meal arrived: Sheekh Kebab starter Chicken Bhuna Prawn Bhuna Pillau Rice Chips Piping hot when it arrived and absolutely delicious. This is our first Indian takeaway since moving here 18 months ago. We will be back!

   Takeaway food lacking flavour and flair. Samosas were over hot. Curries were mild and lacking. Bread very good. Disappointed. Update 2025. Ordered a takeaway away bhuna, tikka masala and korma. Bhuna was swimming in fat. Tikka masala was identical to korma but with tikka grilled chicken and £4 extra (not worth it). I expect tikka masala to be a tomato cream base, not mild veggie base. The korma base still had lumps of potato which missed the blender. Nann and rice ok. Service friendly. Prices high. In summary the prices are excessive for poor quality cheaply made disingenuous Indian food. For a few quid more there are way better options in surrounding villages.

   Decided on a Monday night curry as the restaurant was just along the road from where I was staying. As it was a Monday it wasn't too busy, which was good as it gives you the opportunity to chat to the staff. The food was excellent, starter, mains, rice and nann bread. Reasonable prices, good service and a tasty meal, what more could you ask for.

   Having never been before and new to the area, this was our first experience. We chose to ignore the previous reviews as we like to reserve judgment. We enjoyed our chicken Tikka starter and it was delicious. We also had onion bhaji which was a nice flavour but a bit greasy. Followed by a chicken tikka massala and chicken korma. The massala sauce was quite thin and after plating up separated with water and grease pooling up, the chicken was good, the flavour was ok quite bland and reminded me of a gravy rather than a sauce. The korma was better but still greasy but a nice flavour. The rice was good fluffy and flavoursome. Nan bread was good as was the chapatti. Overall some good elements but the curry itself was disappointing and not worth the price. Sadly we would not return.

   Awful takeaway! Ordered a pasanada and it had zero taste, partner order a bhuna and it had zero taste or spice. I could even eat it it was that bland! Chicken pakora had a horrible batter on it. Overall the only edible thing was the yoghurt and poppadoms! Will never order again!
