   All was lovely the only reason I've given it a 4 is because they bring your food out, at a buffet I want to go and choose and I didn't get some things that I want because I felt like I was put on the spot and only ordered one meal. The table shared so I did get to try things obviously, but a buffet shouldn't be like this. The beef was melt in your mouth though

   Delicious food, excellent service, highly recommended for dinner and lunch! The dinner all you can eat buffets are £24 for Monday to Thursdays and £25 for Friday to Sunday also Bank holidays! Children under 8 years old are half price! They also provides Vegan menu and Gluten free menu, any other allergies can be avoided in this restaurant. Me and all my friends were highly satisfied!

   Popped in for the evening buffet. All food is cooked to order and was delicious. The restaurant is bigger than it looks from the outside and was lacking some background music for atmosphere, but the starters and mains were all excellent for our table!

   I was new to the city and I wanted to explore the city and by chance this restaurant caught my attention. I tried out the vegetarian option available and ordered Salt and garlic fries along with mixed Vegetable fried rice. The food was in decent portions and ingredients used were fresh and really delicious. The ambience was quiet and peaceful and I really enjoyed my meal.

   The staff kindly let us in for hour even though it was fully reserved and we didn't book. We paid £24 per person for all you can order buffet. Food was delicious and good portions and you could order as much as you like We definitely got our money's worth and the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place.

   Went in at lunch time for the self service buffet. Good quality well cooked food with lots of different choices. Two full to the brim adults and two pints of lager came to well under £40.

   In short, China Royal used to be perfect in every way. Staff attentive & polite, prices reasonable & service first rate. This chinese restaurant has been mine & my families favourite for over 14 years. Sadly now, it is a shadow of how it used to be. Staff surly & not attentive, food quality not a patch on how it has been. Prices of drinks have risen fairly sharply & no longer, are there any baskets of complimentary Prawn Crackers on the tables. In fact, when I visited 5 weeks ago, the mood of the whole place - customers included - was sombre at best. That meal was the 2nd worst I've had from there within 12 months. Shan't be returning.
