Take away. This is basic but tastes very good. It's cheaper than some places but the service here has a very personal touch.
Since living in Paulsgrove I’ve been going to golden bridge as my local and they’ve never disappointed! Food is delicious and always hot, the owner that takes your orders is a very welcoming lady, great person overall! My only slight criticism is that the chilli salt chips aren’t great from there. Overall, amazing food, amazing service and good value for money.
There’s a reason this place has been going so long , I stopped using these guys out of pure laziness a few years ago as they don’t deliver , but after many disappointing Chinese delivery’s I decided to go back . Food was hot and delicious, even the chips made me do a little happy dance ! Will only eat from here in the future !
This takeaway has recently had a change of management, and having been loyal customers of some 20yrs or so to the previous management I can report that I expect we will continue to remain loyal customers as the quality of the food has remained just as high, the taste is the same, the portion sizes the same and the service, whilst different, is highly impressive.
Placed our order and was given a different cost than on the menu, was told all items had gone up 40p....shouldn't advertise one price and charge another, beef curry was tasty but not enough sauce, chips lovely, but my chicken was so dry and over cooked I couldn't eat it. Sadly we won't use again.
The curry and chicken balls were reasonable. The chips were awful... Really dry and crunchy, reckon they had been cooked well in advance and keep in oven or refried to order
We've tried a lot of Chinese takeaways from Drayton, cosham and now Paulsgrove. By far this has been the best so far! Due to Covid- I did have to queue but when I got home with my food it was still hot and was very happy with the food quality we received. Very tasty dishes especially the shredded duck as this can be hit and miss with many places. Good quality food here and very reasonable prices. Will return and would recommend to anyone in the local area! We were using food take away centre in Drayton but they have gone very down hill and couldn't care less about their customers!
