   Booked ahead and reserved a table. Staff were very lively and accommodating. Orders a selection of food from menu and I have to say for a pub this was top notch food!! Loved it. Ate everything. Big thank you to Rachel for being lovely

   Visited this restaurant and had the Full English Breakfast and a large glass of Chardonnay. It was absolutely delish! It was so tasty and the portion size was perfect, no to mention the price was decently matched for quantity of food received. Staff was pleasant and service was also acceptable. Definitely want to visit again for their Sunday roast.

   Booked a table for 20 with Garbutts for our work anniversary and every meal was lovely. The food came out fast and correct and was cooked to perfection. I think we ordered almost everything on the menu between us and not one person was disappointed. The staff went above and beyond, they were attentive and friendly. I wouldn't think twice about recommending Garbutts to anyone. Thank you

   Such a shame and hate having to do this but I would not recommend this place to anyone. 2nd time dining as a large group here and the same experience both times, long waits for food that is not up to a standard that matches the prices charged. Some orders were wrong which meant additional waiting time. Pies were so dry, onion rings literally sat in a pool of oil, satay chicken seemed to be made of a white sauce and peanut butter added?! Bizarre, it was like peanut rice pudding. The rice was like risotto. We all ate most of our food because we were so hungry by this point but unfortunately left unhappy and having no one coming to check the table at the end or ask us how the food was, we didn't feel we had the opportunity to even share our feedback. Would have left less stars but it's a lovely venue and the staff are lovely too it's just a shame about the rest.

   Very nice place to spend a couple of hours. Exterior (front) seating and nicely presented. I believe there could be a beer garden to the rear. The interior is nicely furnished and decorated. Plenty of seating and table settings. Very large place. Attentive staff. Nice customers. Lovely latte. The food is outstanding. We've never had a poor offering. I usually go for the small plates option and purchase 3 different ones - olives with warm bread and a butter, Panko halloumi with a salad garnish and chilli dip and creamy garlic mushrooms (to die for). All are delicious. Food is beautifully presented and efficiently served. Clean place and decent toilet facilities. Definitely worth paying a visit to Garbutts if you're stuck for somewhere to eat or drink.

   Omg today I had steak and caramelised onions Buddha bowl , wow it was sensational , I can honestly say it was the best salad bowl I think I have ever eaten and so filling too definitely got ***** from me
