I had their Philly Cheesesteak sub, and it was okay, didn't really stand out to me much. Despite that, to say I was disappointed was an understatement. I visited Portsmouth for a celebration and traveled an extra 30 minutes both ways to check out Wagyu Bros.....for it turning out to be a ghost kitchen. The storefront in Google Maps photos is actually just a lie. I went into a Kebab shop to ask for directions, and he told me that's it. The staff was nice at least. But I was so disappointed because it was a special celebration meal. :(

Best Doner meat I've ever had. Definitely a place to try. Everything was full of flavour and I'm glad I got a bit of everything to try. Burger and Philly cheese sub was spot on as well. No complaints. Owner was very friendly as well!

This place was epic!! The best burger I’ve had in years. We popped out of Victorious festival to grab some decent food and this place was incredible. They were hugely busy (the whole street was busy with festival goers) and there was a wait but our expectations were managed upfront. We were happy to wait. Really friendly staff working super hard to get orders out, keep customers informed and happy. Food piping hot, fresh and delicious. So many options on building it all to exactly how you want it. Peanut butter milkshake was NOMMM!! I wish I lived closer to treat myself to this more often. But when I’m back in town I’ll be guaranteed to swing by.

Nice clean place, Customer service was excellent, very friendly staff especially the guy who took our orders. Ordered Wagyu Donner (only available on Friday and Saturday) Homemade Wagyu Donner, Special Salad and choice of sauces served in fresh bread. Wagyu Philly Cheesesteak Sub Chilean Wagyu, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions and Nacho Cheese Sauce served in a Brioche roll. My Philly Cheesesteak Sub was very enjoyable but the Wagyu Donner was alright. Was a little disappointed with the Donner maybe my expectations were far 2 high. To me its similar to GDK (German Donner Kebab) but just alittle better and its Wagyu. I gave it an extra ⭐ because of the good customer service.

So tried this place out as they seem to have just influencers comment. A lot of hype but what’s the honest layman’s view?… So paid for the wagyu burger, had to buy chips on top. Also added the Philly Cheesesteak Sub. I’ll be honest couldn’t taste the difference between the wagyu burger and a normal beef burger from the normal alternative places. Begs the question, why would you pay £17 for this when it’s just fast food? Plus too many sides to choose from. Limited menu, usually wagyu is a part of the menu rather than a whole menu. Would take other reviews with a pinch of salt. If it was amazing and it truly sold itself you wouldn’t need influencers or news reviews for publicity. It didn’t live up to the hype. Despite this I recommend giving it a go and deciding for yourself.

What a great place! Lovely surroundings, great menu, fabulous food. Everything we had was so tasty, the sub, the doner Kebab, the wagyu burger, the wagya sausage, the club sandwich and also the cheesey bites! We were from Ireland visiting friends in Portsmouth and over the weekend we ended up doing 2 visits as the food was so good. Friendly staff too. Good luck to Ash and his brother on their new venture. Will be back in the summer IA.
