Worst security checks. My identity was stolen through the poor verification system in place at Santander and they won't help you. Money before people. No need to say I will never ever bank with Santander.
Dreadful service after my father died. Been trying to get the deeds to his house for over a month now so we can proceed with the house sale. We are at serious risk of loosing our buyers. Staff in the bereavement team have been very helpful but despite several times the issue being escalated to management, a complaint lodged and hours spent on the phone trying to chase the issue, no one seems to be taking this seriously. Whoever is in charge of processing the release of deeds at the head office needs to seriously look at their customer service and particularly how this impacts on bereaved relatives - shocking!
Absolutely useless contact by telephone customer service. Over an hour waiting to be put through to an adviser. This happens every time you call. Moving money elsewhere, can't be doing with such hopeless interaction or incompetence.
I went into my local Santendar in Worcester to set up an online account to repay a loan. All set up no problems whatsoever. The staff were very helpful. Unlike Coventry building society who used a forged mortgage application to seize an OAPs home . They refused to show them the mortgage application for 10 years. Stating all kind of excuses. The court case caused the OAP to stop eating and taking his medication. He died a scared and broken man. Coventry building society don't think you've got away with this . Wait and see.
Great head office nice security guards and a posh building and reception but i would love to work here when im older
Tried to pay in a cheque and American Dollars, cheque ok, but cashier said " we don't do foreign currency" and handed be the dollars. No explanation or help, very blunt and unsympathetic.
in case you didn't want to do banking and are looking for a decent skate spot.. this place is amazing.
