Got what we wanted and more. Not so keen on the self-service but a lovely young lady was there to help and guide us.
Good variety of men's clothing changing rooms handy but do like getting you using the self checkouts starting to miss being a customer rather than a non paid employee
Good choice of bargain clobber, the staff however are the least helpful I have ever come across, they direct you to a self service checkout, and ignore you when you ask for help , so left my goods and walked out. Give it a miss if you are over 40 and expect some sort of customer service !!
Staff seemed more interested in getting everyone to use the self service tills. A security tag was left on the dress I purchased. I now have to drive back to the store. Staff didn’t seem interested at all. I commented on the lack of staff engagement to my friend, before I got home to find that a security tag had been left on my purchase!
Clean good choice friendly helpful staff good bargains.
All great managed to get some nice t shirts, only gripe was you had to do self checkout which was no problem, but had someone standing over you like a vultur ready to pounce if you done something wrong, like not putting a hanger in the box even though you are saving money on staff serving you
Virtually forced to use self service in these stores now. I won't! Matalan don't pay my wages, I'm a customer and if I'm spending my hard earned cash the least they can do is supply me with an actual person!
I struggled to find what I wanted to buy as they seemed to have put swimwear over winter clothing, in January. I usually struggle not to overspend, on this visit, I couldn't find much I wanted to buy. Pity, it used to be my favourite clothes store.
Good selection of clothes but the checkouts are awful. Bad signage and ended up having to queue twice as only self checkouts can be used despite there being a separate queue for manned checkouts. Seems a number of other people got confused where to queue also.
