Cannot overpraise the helpful, friendly service we experienced in this shop. My partner and I both came away with a pair of boots. Great choice of footwear and well worth the drive down from near Guildford, having lost our branch of Charles Clinkard there.
Could not have asked for better service and kindness on shopping in the Chichester store. On receiving a nice greeting the girls helped my husband to find two pairs of shoes. I know this doesn't some much but this was after trying on a good few to arrive at this point. All done with smiles which made it a really nice experience. Thank you.

Like the shoes but some (not all) staff leave a lot to be desired. Been here on two occasions. Today I returned shoes I'd somehow managed to buy in wrong size . I walked in and greeted with a smile. Presuming it was a manager who authorised return . Was surly and seemed disappointed that she couldn't find evidence of me having worn them outside by looking at the soles so intently again ,,and again.., (surprised she didn't call for a magnifying glass). Made me feel like a fraud and Criminal for a genuine mistake. no smile or personable attitude. You'd think that in the current climate they'd wanna keep customers , and ultimately the business and their jobs.?

Very good, swift and friendly service - specifically James - the shop was spacious and stylish and an excellent choice for children's shoes!
The older lady that served me on Monday had a terrible attitude. She was unhelpful & rude. I felt quite sorry for the young girl working with her who was very pleasant. The same woman has now given my father and mother a terrible experience on separate occasions. I will NEVER go back to that shop.
Had a very unhappy experience in this shop when I returned a pair of shoes bought from the Charles Clinkard website. On asking if I could try a bigger size I was informed by a very condescending female that the shoes were outlet shoes and not something"she would stock in here" nearly bought another pair in her shop costing £65 but on close inspection there was a scratch on the patent, I asked for a new pair and again was talked down to being told"these are fresh" I decided to leave the shoes and I will never shop in this horrible little shop again, they are obviously only interested in their wealthy regulars and not interested in new customers. Do yourself a favour and shop for overpriced shoes elsewhere
