This is a family run hotel, and you can tell. Clean and well presented but set well and truly in the 1980's. Our room was adequate for a short stay with basic amenities, but lacked a fridge. Dinner was OK, with a menu which could do with updating. Served on what I can only describe as ' canteen ' crockery with cutlery to match our food was OK but not well presented and our waiter made the experience feel rushed and similar at breakfast where we were offered wheaten bread before juice, coffee or tea were ordered. I'm not a snob, but there is an order to things and a degree of etiquette expected at any dining experience. Would I return ? Yes , if owners/ staff were given a little training in hospitality
