I booked a table in advance for 6 people at lunchtime. When we arrived a lady said the booking was only made for 2 people. Myself and my 5 friends go out regularly for lunch and there’s always 6 of us. When I made the initial booking the lady said the internet was down and she would write it down. Luckily there was enough tables. One of our party ordered ham off the bone served in farmhouse bread. When it arrived my friend said to the server that it was thin sliced ham and the bread just looked like sliced bread and not Farmhouse. The server then went on to argue with my friend. This is really bad customer service. The rest of us ate meals which we enjoyed and another friend asked for water. She assumed it was tap water. To our utter dismay when we came to pay , the water was charged . Also they automatically charge a 6% service charge. We weren’t happy with our service and will definitely not be returning. We wouldn’t recommend this place.

This place is brilliant, my wife and I visited before the food was out of this world. So we returned the following week with my farther 97 bless him, the staff had arranged for us to be in the quiet room dining area as dad has hearing aids and it gets busy there.. we had stake Lovely best stake in ages, and the service is friendly and prompt.

Such a lovely place. First time I have ever been here and it won't be the last. From walking through the door to leaving we were treated to excellent service and food. The staff are friendly, helpful and polite. The food was very tasty and freshly prepared and well presented. Definitely worth a visit.

A very fresh vibrant restaurant. Staff were pleasant and attentive, popular place, might be tight to get parked when busy. We had the full English which was nice with a tasty coffee. Only negatives were the hard seats, got a num bum after a while Would maybe suggest booking a table There were no hot drinks shown on the menu displayed under the table top glass

The venue is lovely , airy and not crowded , the staff serving , lovely and caring The food , we ordered a lamb burger with chips off the specials board , chicken and bacon salad and cajun chicken burger with hand cut chips and coleslaw Nothing is cheap in here so you expect to get what you order and it to be of a certain quality . The salad of lettuce so so limp it was close to fainting , the meat part of the burgers was great but the rest so dry it was hard to eat and like last week came with fries that tase of nothing but fat , not the hand cut chips . I challenged them last week and they brought me chips saying the menu wrong ..it:s still wrong . I really thought that after my complaint last week they would have rectified this . The lettuce in the burger limp and no tomato or anything else to give the burger some moisture ..just a dry toasted bun . When we complained we were told it's difficult to get salad , " have you been to tesco's recently " . This is not an excuse that works , try aldi or Lidl they both have good fresh salad or Morrison's , or simply don't serve it So sad ..this my third disappointing meal in here , the lasagna was grisly and very greasy too .. Staff great , food not , and it really would not take much to rectify this , and I think what really got my goat was a sign on the wall saying " due to the rise in prices it was not possible to change items on the menu , food came as stated on the Menu" .
