Carryout madras, rice, garlic nan. (Almost) No garlic on the nan and the madras just wasn’t good enough. The nan and the sauce went into the bin. A waste of my hard earned money.

I ordered from here the other day. I ordered 2 different Kormas and a chicken tikka masala. I don't know if they dropped a bag of sugar into the sauces, but I have never tasted anything like it. On rice, it was like a sweetened coconut rice pudding with bit of chicken or lamb. No spices could be tasted over the sweetness, and tbh, the lamb and chicken just provided texture. It was very disappointing. We also ordered a balti, and that tasted much better (no sugar). Lady at the front desk was nice, didn't have to wait long, but the food was honestly awful.

I've been getting curries here for 4 years. Lately they've been getting less consistent with flavour; my partner stopped wanting anything from Kismat a while ago, but I really like their Lamb Chilli Masala ... until tonight, I can only imagine that the top fell off the salt shaker when they made the sauce because it was inedible, I took one forkful and immediately had to drink water (and it tasted like saline, it was that bad). Unfortunately I shan't be back.

This is our go-to Indian takeaway restaurant. I haven't had a bad meal from then yet and I've tried almost every curry. The staff are very helpful in checking what is gluten free too. But remember to bring cash as they don't accept card.
