I usually just get a starter if passing through Gilford. They now don't do full curry meals. I got onion bhaji with salad,chilli and garlic sauces. It was quite good and filled a hole. They seemed busy on a Saturday night. Will try again.
Got a mixed kebab ' the donor meat looked like it had been hacked off the pit with a sword ' big chunks instead of nice thin strips . Plus it didnt taste good . The bits of steak in it also was like chewing rubber . The chips were almost black ' I would consider changing your oil in the fryers more often . Disgusting . It's like no one cares . Will never order again. Massive improvements needed in that place.
Food was two hours late getting to us but we are in the next town so that's understandable! Customer service was great and food is fantastic but I was disappointed to find that on one of the peppers in my meal there was still a sticker attached. So 3 stars.
Seems to have went downhill of late. We have had two delivery orders recently. In the first, the vegetable korma contained chicken. In the second there was no almond paste in the peshwari naan, the chips were burnt, the curries were just overly hot oily messes, and it took nearly 2 hours for the delivery to arrive because the driver went to a town in completely the wrong direction first. It's a real shame, used to be one of our favorite Indian takeaways, but it's like they just don't care any more.
Wonderful meal that was perfectly delivered. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special PIZZA I had the wedge salad - it was delicious. In a nutshell, Chilli Masala have a Great FOOD. Crispy,,,,
Best Takeaway of the Town, Chilli Masala Really good tapas, a really nice mix of classic southern and modern fare. The dishes are cooked and served immediately so everything is piping hot and each has a secret sauce that the dishes are smothered in. Green peppers are one that I'm still craving today. Same with falafel. Fish was incredible something everyone should try.
