   What a total sham this shop is! Half the time it's closed and when it's open it's a joke. I bought a boot! After trying one on, I said I'd buy, so whilst putting my shoe on, the lady went to get the matching boots and had boxed them when I got to til. The one I tried on was on counter so I asked her was there a pair in box. O yes she said, I got u a new pair from Upstairs! I specifically asked if she was sure, as in sale and very few left, and the one I tried still on counter. Yes, definitely she replied. I got home, 2 bus rides away, and later opened box to find one boot!!!! I rang the shop, same lady that served me answered, I explained but instead of a sorry, it was every excuse!! I was on my own in shop, NO there were 2 ladies as other lady had gone to get me a shoe from back so I could try on, but they didn't fit. Next was o I was so busy she said. NO, there was only one customer in shop with me. Eventually I got a cocky sorry and to go back to get other boot. I went next am before a hospital appt to find a small note on window. OPEN att 10.30. After 40mins it got to 10.30, then 10.35, then 10.40 and near 10.45 a lady strolled up bottle of pop and snack in hand to tell the small crowd waiting to get in, sorry, I'm late. I finally got the missing boot but would never shop in this shop again as this isn't the only bad experience in there I've had, but the worst. It really is a shame with rude and some incompetent staff (not all of them).

   I called in to the Chichester Shuropody store yesterday and Gaynor came over to assist me. Her customer service was excellent. She was kind, patient and courteous throughout my visit. I purchased a lovely pair of Shuropody Nautical floral loafers with some additional half-insoles that she recommended as I currently have torn tendons and am unable to use my toes to help grip on the shoes. Thank to Gaynor's fabulous customer service l will definitely be a regular visitor to Shuropody Chichester in future!

   You’ll want Siobhan to assist you. This lady is a wealth of information. She also is super experienced and very thorough at making the arch supports on site. You may need to wait as the process happens- so put a little time and patience aside while you shop. She is fast and efficient- up and down off the floor inserting soles, fitting shoes and tying laces. On top of this, digging in the back room finding reduced price sandals to fit my South African feet on a homeward journey into summer. Oh yes! and added extra support on the orthotics at no charge and with customer support/ service in mind. Seek out Siobhan for your shop at Shuropody Chichester.

   Today I was told that the Foot Clinic Silicone Gel Heel Cushions, could not be returned for Hygiene reasons. The packet was unopened, and heat sealed. I would have to use scissors to open it. My word was not enough, and was told they did not know they had not been opened. At the cost of £14.99, I have no use for them, as my surgeon said I would not need them. (I have just had hip replacement surgery). I was told that perhaps I could sell them on E Bay. Not the result I had anticipated, I consider myself a VERY honest person, If I say they had not been opened, it was pretty obvious. and they were totally intact untouched by my hand. I do not recall being told this when I made the purchase.

   Went there to buy a pair of shoes and have my arch measured. There were only 2 members of staff. One of them told me to take my shoes off and sit and wait a few minutes, later she came back and said the shop was too busy amd she wasn't able to do it then asked me to come back later. I went back after an hour, another member of staff told me the same thing. 'come back later'. They were only taking cash today so I went to withdraw cash for the shoes I wanted to buy. I went back later, they were closed. I went home checked the online shop if the company I wanted to buy shoes from, they werecheaper and free delivery. I bought the shoes from that shop. Will go back to shuropedy again? I am not sure. If they told me they couldn't have done the measurement today, it would have been ok. Do train your staff Shuropedy.

   Horrible experience; we will not return to this branch. There was a sale (and everything throughout the store was cash only). I quickly found some shoes I liked and tried to get assistance. After a while my husband asked an assistant to help. (None of the staff had name badges so I can say only that she was an older lady with dark hair.) She said she had to serve one customer before us but she would then be with us. (She was keen to explain there were only three members of staff.) She then proceded to serve other people entering the store. After several minutes my husband approached the same woman again. She actually told him to 'go away' as there were only three people serving. My husband felt publicly humiliated. Another customer said, 'that was not very good'. I would go as far as to say it was apalling. Eventually a pleasant young assistant served us but the shoes actually split whilst being handled. I regret wasting our time in Shuropody today.
