   I had a disappointing experience at this Sports Direct store. Two staff were at the tills — one helping a customer while the other was folding clothes. I was the only person waiting, holding several boxes of Christmas decorations. When I asked if the second counter was open, she said yes but didn’t call me over or offer help earlier. She ignored my polite feedback and didn’t even say thank you after I paid. She and her colleague exchanged grins, which felt disrespectful. I then spoke to the manager to share my experience, but he was equally unhelpful and unapologetic. He simply said the staff member “wasn’t supposed to serve customers,” which didn’t make sense since she told me her counter was available. His response felt dismissive rather than understanding. Overall, poor communication, lack of courtesy, and disappointing customer service. Staff should be more attentive and professional.

   Poor customer service very rude staff, just bought a pair of shoes today as i needed that urgently. Never gonna come back again. Staff must be trained and educated enough to behave with customers from different backgrounds. Entered into the shop with my family and he looked at us so arrogantly, no hello hi, no greetings. Chased him again into the shop for different size and he again behaved very arrogantly.

   After politely resquesting some help to find a shoe, a young man asked us to wait for his colleague, witch we did . After a long wait we asked another member of staff to help us with our request. She asks her colleague (who had came and was talking with the boy we had previously asked for help for over 5 minutes) if he could help us. Then the young man started complaining about us and being blatantly rude as we stood right next to him. He had a disgusting attitude, and provided terrible customer service. claiming that we had only been waiting five minutes. thankfully the gentleman that helped us resolve our issue fast with no issues and while being polite. I don’t know in what world you believe it’s okay to talk Crap about your customers as they are right next to you, but it’s not! Then, as I went downstairs And resolve a problem with some faulty trainers, I lovely Boy Explained that he was able to resolve the issue and called over his superior, Who also had a terrible attitude and was being quite sassy. Overall, you need to do talk to those staff members who cannot maintain professional approaches while talking To customers, so that those few staff who are polite and have amazing customer service efforts are not wasted.

   When it a few weeks ago just moved to the country needed to buy rugby gear and thermals I'm in around closing time with over £150 pound worth of stuff and wanting to buy a few more warm clothes and I'm threatened that I need to get what I've got now or leave with nothing. Having just come from Australia must say it's the worst customer service I've seen for someone spending a decent chunk of money

   Went in today and 1 poor guy looking for shoes for the entire shop! Meanwhile multiple of his colleagues are just standing around different sections of the store. When asking them for help they radio to the poor sod helping 20 others. It’s absolutely ridiculous how long we were expected to wait. In the end we left without anything.

   Went to buy a football, when at the tills tried to be charged double the price, they explained they were on the wrong shelve asked for the correctly priced ones, these ones happen to be out of stock, enquired if just making shelves look full with wrong ones and told yes. Left and shopped else where. Is a lovely new shop and easier to browse in. Just a shame about sales technique.
