A nice place to watch the world go by. The pancakes appeared to be pricey on initial inspection of the menu, but the portion is hefty! Truly a place of pilgrimage for North Lincolnshire's sweet pancake cognoscenti.
Ordered two large brekkies, pot of tea for two, service was prompt, was a slight mix up between our table and the one to the next however they handled it fantastically and professionally, my partner is very picky with her eggs, they did them perfectly to her standard. Was offered a free drink due to mix up however they comped my partners lemon cake instead, I'm sure the cake will be just as lovely as the breakfasts we were served. Service was quick, very professional and polite. Enjoyed a large black coffee which was spot on and was tempted by the coconut tart. Was surprised by the tart. The pastry was well cooked,the contents not too sweet and a good sized portion. Looking forward to popping in for more tasty treats served with a smile.
Lovely, clean friendly cafe serving nice food and good coffee. I went past it on Tues morning and it was very busy, so went on Wed. I had a small veggie breakfast, perfect size.
Took our little granddaughter there today and all the staff were really lovely, couldn’t have been more helpful. Let her choose her plate colour, provided toddler cutlery, and asked if anything needed to be changed to suit her tastes. Food is always first class but this was first visit for her and we’d certainly take her again! Thank you!
Sat down and a gentleman brought us the menus and said he would be back t take our order. A family came in after us and got served then a couple came in and got served straight away. We were totally ignored so in the end got up and walked out. Disgraceful service will definitely not go back
We called in today ,had a large breakfast and my other half a small breakfast, with pot of tea for 2. Great service, lovely clean place, nice atmosphere and excellent food ,thoroughly enjoyed it .
Beautiful vegan food. They had many vegan options to offer and unusual ones as well. The staff were friendly, the lady even checked the hot chocolate was suitable for vegans. Definitely would return.

Visited The Fig Tree for a meal during Barton Bike Night, we sat outside in a lovely courtyard. The staff were very friendly, the food was great, picnic platter and scampi were our orders. Will definitely visit again.
