The Imaginarium, what a beautiful place in Barton on Humber. Beautifully decorated throughout. We came here as a family for a romantic meal one evening and the staff catered to our needs. Fantastic service with a smile. The food was absolutely amazing, we all really enjoyed our food. Thank you for all you did. We will definitely book again.
We booked a large party of 21 for my partner’s birthday last night, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Every plate was cleared – the food was absolutely outstanding, full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with real care and attention to detail. The little touches throughout the evening really made it special. The staff were fantastic from start to finish, with a special shout-out to Lilly who went above and beyond to look after us. It was also such a lovely gesture for the owners and chef to come over personally to greet us and surprise us with a birthday cake – it made the evening feel extra memorable. The live singer created a brilliant atmosphere, and the whole night was just flawless. Thank you so much for making it such a special celebration – we’ll definitely be back soon!
We are staying in the town due to a golf competition. Stumbled across this gem! A tiny entrance that opened into a lovely dining area. Initially went in for a drink but ended up with the Wacky Wednesday menu - the best steak we have eaten in a long time, delicious wine and a tiramisu cheesecake to die for! Impeccable service from a very attentive team and amazing value for money. Thank you!
We met up for a family get-together. It has a cosy atmosphere and the food was delicious. Choices were the lamb shank ( the meat was so tender, served with extra gravy and crispy kale, mash and veg) and halloumi burgers. Both were served beautifully on wooden platters. As it was early, we managed to park outside. Our first time here, we will definitely be back.
Booked for breakfast last Sunday, the place is cute and nice. We ordered steak and eggs and a full English but were later advised there was no steak so ordered 2 x full English. Was asked if we’d like black pudding and said yes. Breakfast took 45 minutes to come out and there was only us and 1 other couple in there they had come in after us got served and eaten before ours came out. When it did come out the black pudding was missing and they didn’t bring out the toast either, by that time we’d waited so long we just wanted to eat up and go. The food was nice when it finally came out but wouldn’t go back, for 2 full English and 2 coffee’s glass of juice £36ish. Thought it was a bit pricey with service and items missing.
Firstly we would like to thanks everyone who served us from walking through the doors to eating our meal. The staff are fantastic and made us feel so welcome. We stayed the night in one of the restaurants rooms which again is clean, comfortable. The restaurant itself is stunning and the food…. Well the food is next level! Just wow! Service is amazing honestly we cannot tell you how great our meal and stay is. Thank you so much to the manager we will be back again for sure and telling all our friends and family about you. Xx
This is a little Gem of a place and easy to miss tucked away near the Corn Exchange in Barton-on-Humber. The tiny frontage opens up to a space that was a big surprise to us, offering cosy and comfortable areas and then moving into the lovely enclosed garden/courtyard dinning area. The food was OUTSTANDING and also presented to a high standard all at fair prices. The service was efficient and friendly. At present this place is not dog friendly, but I understand that may change in the future. There are also B & B rooms available above, but cannot comment on those as not used.
1st time coming here as was recommended by friends who live in Barton and are regulars. Did not disappoint! Food was beaut I have the hanging skewer and my partner had the ribs. Really nice and value for money. Deco and the mood of the restaurant was really relaxed. Service was great, very polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be coming again. Try and get a seat in the 'outside' bit as its really nice atmosphere.
