We came here for my father in laws birthday treat and it was all round great. The food was very tasty and great portions! The service was second to none & it was a great atmosphere. Would 100% recommend coming here. I will be back!
Popped in for Sunday lunch based on other reviews. Quite disappointing food. Extremely dry beef, average tasting potatoes and veg. A wee bit expensive for the quality. Good service in a pleasant modern restaurant environment.
Lovely find. Next door to a Nisa supermarket. You can eat and shop in one place. Staff really friendly and attentive. Food fresh and well presented. Everything had good taste and texture. Good selection of foods and drinks. Extensive range of wines and beers.

What a great place. The smells that greet you and then the look of the place told me this was gonna be good. The choices on the evening menu were varied and as a party of 6 people we all took something different and all agreed that not only was each dish delicious but plenty of it. The restaurant also has a very good selection of Wines, beers, Gins, Whiskeys and cocktails. The prices were very reasonable. The staff were so attentive and pleasant. Well done Loft 56.
So sorry, have eaten here previously and it was fabulous. Today, very poor service, if we hadn't been rescued by a passing waiter would still be waiting for the menu.avoid the lamb, just 2 fatty lamb chops, however starters and beef fabulous. We will be back but wary of service. Tuvm
Stopped off for lunch, very good food. I had the fish and chips. Others with me had chicken sizzling green curry which was delicious. Everything was hot and very tasty. Great staff, fast service.
Fantastic food in lovely surroundings with attentive staff. Loft 56 is a bit of a hidden gem. Located above the Milestone supermarket in Rathfriland, the same fresh meals and wide choice available throughout the supermarket is replicated and bettered in the restaurant. The menu offers global flavours with imaginative dishes presented to perfection. The flavours are divine and the portions up to the challenge of even the most hungry diner. A great selection of beverages, fine wines, local and international beers and spirits all add to this gastro delight. To top it all off is the value for money with meals being more than reasonably priced. The two meals shown in the included photos cost £12 each, July 2021.
