I visited the Portsmouth Currys store a few weeks ago, and I was very impressed with the experience. The range of products is huge; I found every modern piece of tech I was looking for in one place. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy, and they provided thorough answers to all my questions. I managed to find the perfect device, and the whole purchasing process was quick and seamless. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality electrical goods!

AVOID AT ALL COST !!! ordered item online to be delivered to the shop. after a week without any updates on my order, contacted them via chat because they don't have any number to chase your orders. spent two hours on the chat with somebody, end up finding out that somethin happened to my order and i have to reorder and wait another week or two. complete joke. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CURRYS !!!

I did a click and collect order on 23rd November. Received an email on 25th November telling me I had 10 days to collect it. Received a reminder email on 30th November reminding me I had 5 days left to collect it. I went in to collect today, queued and the staff member simply told me the order had been cancelled but they couldn’t tell me why. They sent me to customer services, I then waited about 20 minutes to be seen. The man who then served me was very rude and said that’s not something they can help me with. I explained I had been sent there and he groaned and said he would have to phone head office which he then did. He was very dismissive of me. Eventually it turns out the manager had cancelled my order as I didn’t collect it in time. The manager- Ben came over and I explained I had come to collect within the time period curry’s allowed and he argued that I hadn’t, including arguing there were 31 days in November. When I tried to explain the emails he again didn’t listen, spoke over me and said he always gives extra days leeway and as it had been 12/13 days since I ordered he had no choice. Today is 10 days since my order and 8 days since delivery. He wouldn’t reinstate the order at that point. He did begrudgingly go and get my items and I had to re-purchase them. I had to specifically ask that they honor the Black Friday deals as they wrongly cancelled my order. This wasn’t offered to me until I requested it. I’m really disappointed as always had brilliant customer service before. I fully appreciate these things happen and December is busy but the attitudes from the original staff member at customer service and Ben the manager were really disappointing and made the situation more stressful than necessary.

It's OK. I think it would be better off there was any competition to keep them on their toes. Staff are fairly knowledgeable and helpful.... when you eventually find someone who's not busy! Dogs allowed in and I was even allowed to take my push bike in, once (forgot my lock/chain). The first photo for the reviews here, is not Ocean Park. Don't know who put that there or why.
