(Incidentally, both those national services advertise 'same day or next day' - both offered an appointment in one weeks' time! And one tried to sell me insurance that would have worked out at 7 times the price I paid DAS!!) Steve was here within the hour, fixed the problem and ran a test cycle. Done. Dusted. Highly, highly recommended.”

“Amazing service, Graham knows his stuff with his products. We ordered our washing machine at 3pm it was delivered and plumbed in and the old one taken away by 5.15 pm by John . “The best place by far if you're in Portsmouth and after a kitchen. Any reputable kitchen fitter will have a Howdens account. In terms of quality, Howdens arrive pre assembled and really well packaged. Solid backs on the base units, Blum hinges and internals are exceptional quality. A huge range of styles to fit most budgets Plus they do decent flooring, some excellent value doors, skirting, architrave etc .best of all is the service. They're great everywhere but exceptional in Portsmouth. If you're after a kitchen you'd be mad to not give them a look”

“Once again fabulous fast and efficient service. Our ancient 17 year old dishwasher finally bit the dust, Total Appliance had done a few repairs on it over the years and extended the life of the machine by years for us, but a huge issue and redundant parts meant it was time for a new machine. Competitively priced replacement machine was delivered and installed. We live in a small flat with an even smaller kitchen so installation was challenging, but as ever, they did an absolutely perfect job. 100% recommended.”

“This must be the best and tidiest B&M shop I've ever visited. So much so I returned for a second visit in one week! A large shop that has all you need. I particularly like the garden centre part! I filled my trolley with lots of really great priced tropical plants for my garden. Once again I shall be returning here often.
