    Argus is a strange shop. They have a small front end with catalogues to order a wide range of goods. You then sit and wait a screen with numbers, waiting to win the goods bingo when they’ve found your item. They must have a Tardis back there with the number of items in the catalogue! This 5 star review is based largely on the great service we received from the manager who helped us to buy a dishwasher with our Nectar points

    **My Complaint About Argos' Return Policy and Poor Customer Service** I purchased an Henry Hoover online from Argos, but suction is not work properly. When I tried to return it, they refused because the packaging was opened. How am I supposed to know if it works without opening the box? The manager, Dannii was extremely rude and unprofessional. She handled the situation with clear impatience and hostility, showing no respect for customers. Someone with such poor attitude shouldn’t be managing a store. Because of this experience, I’ll never shop at Argos again. I’d rather buy from Amazon, where customer service is actually reasonable.

    I bought a bike from Argos a 2 days ago, but as it turned out, the front tire was not holding air. So I got in touch with a store to figure out what to do about this situation. Billy, who dealt with this matter was very helpful, he arranged for me to exchange and get delivered a new bike to my home address and all went very smoothly.

    There is no proper queue system collection and payments are not marked(date: 19:01:23) Poorly staffed one person to take orders and lack of customer service skills. Staff at the front were saying that why should one person do all this work out loud in front of queuing customers and we’re getting loud with customers. I felt like me coming to collect my order was somehow making their life miserable. Next time would get it delivered home as I felt like not invited to the store ( others in the queue felt similarly). Not expected this at Argos .

    The queuing system is shambolic here. Roughly a third of the people around me had ended up queuing twice as their initial queue was 'incorrect'. There's no clear indicator as to where you go for click and collect - is it really that difficult to facilitate this? Your management must be particularly poor!

    Rude staff especially the one that I dealt with, Jackie, she refused to return an item that I bought less that one week. The item was on its original packaging and in good conditon (because I didn't use it) and after a long conversation she accepted to return and get me a refund. Never return .
