What a little Gem. Absolutely fabulous. We don't go to Portsmouth very often , so we headed for Southsea , couldn't park on the seafront , due to the work going on , but found a place to park free for three hours. The luck continued when we walked into the Park and found this café. Wouid be lovely in the summer but it's even better once you get inside. Vibrant atmosphere, lots of people, plenty of seating, and great service. All the staff were lovely, friendly and polite. I made friends with a social group of over 65 's . Yes it's that kind of place. Lovely coffee , a great choice of cakes, scones and savouries too. There is an outdoor covered seating area , close to the tennis courts. Easy parking and a lovely park nearby , with boating , swings and a green space. Very reasonable prices too.

Had a lovely late lunch-vanilla latte and mac and cheese with crispy bacon. Hands down one of the cheesiest mac n cheese I have had. It was delicious, thoroughly recommend eating and drinking there. Could not fault it whatsoever. Staff were friendly and the coffee was spot on.

First time here. Ok for a wheelchair. I had a chocolate brownie, which was delicious. Also, a coffee. My wife found a vegan cake and had an americano. We were with a group of friends who all said the tea and coffee was the best they had had for ages. The staff were great. Helpful and friendly. Very nice inside and outside. I would recommend.

Lovely little cafe right next to children's playground (heads up it can be crowded and noisy if you're looking for peace and quiet) and we had a swan companion as we sat outside to have our meals! The soup of the day was hearty and delicious. Cake was dry to my liking but the cream on the side made it much better. Decent prices, the soup was only 5£!

Lovely little cafe! Was so pleased to see the gluten free options for cakes and cookies. Beautiful decor. Just very small.

Didn't eat so can't comment on the food but drinks were good quality (£12 for 4 big cups), service friendly and quick to the table. Sat outside in the sun watching g the world go by dogs welcome and water bowls available. Definitely recommended.

My daughter, grandson and I were heading towards another café nearby. Although the weather was nice and sunny the temperature was around 4°C, pretty cold. So rather than walk another half a mile or so we thought that we would try Café Fresco. We were very glad that we did. Excellent service and the food was delicious. Café Fresco is just the type of café that my wife and I enjoy the most. We intend to return very soon. I would also like to add that the atmosphere was satisfying, comfortable and very cosy.

Amazing breakfast. I'd say the best in Portsmouth... The poached eggs on toast with tomato is just fantastic. Definitely visit this lovely place! The coffee is also fantastic.

Cafe Fresco is a delightful place where I have met friends for lunch a couple of times. The menu is quite limited, but as a vegetarian I chose the macaroni cheese which was a generous portion. I added mushrooms and it was very enjoyable. Service is friendly and efficient. Recommended in fine weather, and it's child friendly.
