5 times I've visited this month and 5 times it's been closed. One of those days being armed forces day, closed at 10:30a. Needless to say I won't be wasting my time coming back here again
Went here this morning for a coffee as often use this place. Was so disappointed with service ordered to coffees and waited 15 minutes as were busy. The girl completely forgot my order when asked where my coffees were. People were waiting 40 minutes for breakfast and didn’t seem to be many people eating but lots of people waiting. When I finally got my two coffee’s they were horrible. Sorry won’t be using this place again. Shame as always had great food and good service.
Went today 3rd August 2024 . The best bacon buttie s we ever had. My grand daughter had cheeseburger and chips .Great. very fresh food .
Myself, my partner and my 19month old son have been coming here since before my son was born. The food is outstanding, always freshly made and prepared to order. The staff are always polite and go all out to provide the food to the highest standard. 10/10 would recommend to anyone local or visiting Portsmouth.

Great place for a light bite or an excellent cup of tea served up by a friendly gentleman at the far end of the pier. Seating is available, too, so you don't have to eat and run. I was there on a weekday afternoon so it was very, very quiet but as it is next to funfair rides it must be heaving in midsummer.
Food is tasty (especially the fresh bread sandwiches) and affordable. However, I won't be returning, after witnessing the owner continuosly shout at and humiliate his young and clearly new colleague after they made a mistake on an order. Mistakes are inevitable and a strong boss would work constructively with the colleague to ensure the mistake is not repeated. Instead, he shouted at and belittled his colleague without any advice on how to make their team more effective. He mentioned he has had a high turnover of workers, and I can see why. If this is the "Best of British" work environment, I would be personally feel incredibly embarrassed.
Excellent burger and great price! Highly recommend the Stilton… usually places use a Stilton that kinda disappears among the other flavors, but this really popped! Excellent service and beautiful views too.
