We chose Pure Ground for catering as part of a birthday party at the Community Association. The food was really great and all of the guests commented on how delicious it was! I would recommend!

Unacceptable behaviour from the Cafe's manager when we visited today!! My 5 month old breastfed baby suffers from milk and soya allergy so I was double checking with the person who served me (the said cafe manager and chef) that the food I ordered does not contain soya or dairy. I was polite about it but she proceeded to act very bothered and rude about my genuine questions. When I asked about the ingredients of the vegan spread (as most contain soya) she said she didn't know what it contains which didn't instill me with confidence so I asked for the list of the ingredients and she proceeded to say loudly 'for war and peace' in front of everyone as she walked off to get the list . I was appalled!! When I confronted her about being rude, she didn't apologise and continued being rude justifying it with needing to juggle a lot of things herself and then slammed the café door behind her in anger. An unacceptable behaviour from a manager and mother herself (which she confirmed she is)! Aren't managers supposed to set example for their staff?! The whole situation made me feel very unwelcome, uncomfortable and quite frankly stressed. As if mum life wasn't stressful enough as is!! It's such a shame as when we visited with our friends on Saturday we had an amazing experience and the staff were so friendly and lovely. It was going to become my new favourite spot but I won't be coming back again now. Avoid if you are a mother with baby who has allergies.

Really lovely lunch and very reasonably priced. Covered tables outside with Blankets to war off any chill. Service was friendly and helpful which made for a relaxed and pleasant visit.

Love this coffee shop. Nice setting, friendly staff and great food. Have even brought our kids along which have been made to feel very welcome welcome. Would highly recommend checking this modest little community cafe out. 5 star.

Great little cafe hidden away. We sat inside but there is an outdoor seated area. The cafe itself looks as if it has been recently decorated and lovely atmosphere! We had a sausage roll, brownie, cappuccino and a iced mocha. Will definitely come back again
