Having read the reviews I came here with high expectations and they fell short tbf. £16 for a large full English is very pricy and the food needs to stand out for that money. My food arrived within minutes which is never a good sign a decent fry up should take 8/10 minutes to arrive I feel. Bacon was not greatest, sausage was bland I've had worse but I have also had so much better locally.

The food here is genuinely good and the atmosphere is lovely, but I had a disappointing experience with the service. While having brunch, a full cup of strawberry matcha was accidentally spilled over my new coat. The waitress was clearly nervous but apologised right away and did her best to help, which I appreciated. However, the manager made no effort to address the situation at the time. If I had not mentioned it while paying, she probably would not have said anything. When I explained what happened, she simply said, “I am sorry but nothing we can do unfortunately. I can remove the matcha from the bill, that is the only thing I can do.” It was not the accident itself that was disappointing, but the way the manager handled it with no empathy, no accountability and no professionalism. This was my first visit to Portsmouth and everyone I have met here has been incredibly kind and friendly. It is such a warm city, except for this manager. I genuinely think the management could benefit from some proper customer service training.

We just drink but the place is popular and when we check the plate our neighbours the portions are incredible. It was a Sunday morning, perfect for your brunch . The milkshake was savoury.

Nice good ole cafe. The service isn’t something amazing, the decor is simple and sweet and the food is darn tight average but what else can you expect from such a humble little spot? There were loads of staff who catered for lots of customers that frequent the cafe. The fried bread was a stand out! The price is also super reasonable.

Great range of breakfast and other foods such as fish and chips, baguettes etc. Lovely bubble and squeak with poached egg on specials menu. Also cake and ice cream for afters. Very reasonably priced. Nice little place. Attentive pleasant staff. Dog friendly. Will return.

Tiny little Cafe, real close to the port I arrived. Great view. Had me a proper Full English Breakfast, and loved every bit of it. Was a bit larger than I expected. My friends got the sandwhiches and they were giant, they looked so good one of us order another half sandwich after seeing it.

Was really impressed with this little cafe. There is lots of choice of food and drinks. We had breakfast here after getting off the ferry. We were lucky enough to get a table straight away. The portion sizes were brilliant and the quality of the food was pretty good. There was a que to get in when we left about 10.30am on a Sunday.
